:Chapter 15:

I didn't feel good.

I haven't been feeling good for a few days now, not since The Blue Waters Pack won the first points. Hadden has been strangely silent too. And there was my weird dream. Nothing added up.

I went outside away from the Mansion and the other packs and sat on a low branch in a tree. I hoped the fresh air would get rid of this sick feeling. I brought Judge, Jury, Executioner with me to read.

It was my favorite book to read, despite what it was about.

The book was about the God of Punishment and Death, Wolfsbane.

The Moon Goddess's mate. Not long after she had created werewolves they started becoming savage and breaking her laws. She wasn't happy about it and came down to earth imitating a human girl. She found a man dead in the forest, killed by other humans. She bonded a wolf's spirit with him and turned him into a werewolf. Being a man of honor her promised to serve her and he became her mate. He was created as a warning of what would happen if they kept breaking her laws and disobeying her. Finally, the Lunar Wolf incident is what made him Wolfsbane. It wasn't just killing the Lunar Wolves but breaking major laws would result in Wolfsbane going down to earth and executed them.

The book said that he would draw the symbol of the Death Wolf on a hard surface with the blood of the damned to show that it was he who ended their lives. Showing others that they committed a crime so terrible that Wolfsbane had to be involved.

There hasn't been a recorded kill of Wolfsbane for years now, I thought.

Other wolves finally got the message of what would happen when they upset our Great Mother, Hadden said quietly.

I agreed.

I suddenly got the urge to text Eska and see how she was doing today. I closed up my book and climbed down the tree. I headed back to my room passing very few wolves. Which I was glad. Again I didn't like the attention some of the other Pack wolves gave me. Some of them have now kept their distance from us, and I was fine with it.

Heading up the stairs to my room I noticed that my door was opened.

Is Mavvie here?

I walked in to see my brother standing in the middle of the room, and in his hand was my phone. Unlocked and I could clearly see he was in my contacts list. And he had stopped on a name.

My Mate Eska.

He turned his head and looked at me, waiting for me to say something.

I was in shock but I finally managed to speak, "H-how did you get in my phone?"

"I've always known your password. I know everyone's passwords to their phones. I stayed out of yours but I wanted to know why you've been texting and on your phone more often. Your mate Eska huh, cute."

I felt the anger rise and the sick feeling get worse but I didn't care now, "You have no right to go into my phone Mav! I tried to tell now days ago but you kept ignoring me!"

He narrowed his eyes, "Was it so hard to tell me you found your mate on the day I asked you?!"

"Yes because It was complicated when you asked!"

"How so?"

"Now you're interested!?"

"I think you owe me an explanation!"

"And I think Mav you owe me an apology!"

"For what? Being angry that you kept something this important from me!?"

"For being an ass! When I wanted to tell you, you wouldn't tell me and completely ignored me!"

"What is going on!?" Anju and Winter walked in slamming the door shut behind them.

"Guess who kept the secret that they found their mate here?!" Mavvie said pointing to me.

"Mavvie! I wanted this to be between us-"

"You found your mate?" Anju said surprised.

I felt outnumbered here. The sick feeling was starting to feel painful now like I was punched in the stomach. Even worst I felt Hadden's strength start to come forward.

"Mavvie did you know?" Winter demanded not even acknowledging me.

"How could I considering he kept it from me. I had to break into his phone to find out!"

"Which is a serious breach of privacy" I growled feeling somewhat betrayed that he had did that.

Anju turned to me, "Who is it, Harvey?"

Mavvie again spoke before I could, "That Eska chick from the Blue Waters Pack. Now we know what Harvey was scowling at Alpha Nick, you think he's got something with her."

The very thought of it made both me and Hadden angry, "Please stop!"

"How could you keep something like that from us?" Winter snarled.

"Guys please calm down" Anju ordered.

Winter and Mavvie turned to her, "Don't act like your not upset that he kept this from you, not to mention Eliza told me that she saw you heading into the forest alone!"

"So now you have spies watching me?!" I clenched my fists.

"No, but I think we should now!" Winter said.

"Anything else you want to tell us, bro?"

"Any other secrets we should know about?"

"Please stop" I whispered.

"Why?"

"Winter, Mavvie that's enough!" Anju stomped over to us trying to get them away from me.

"I don't care Anju he practically lied to us how can you be alright with that!"

I couldn't take it anymore, the hurt, the anger, the pain. Hadden sprung forward before I could do anything to hold him back and held our arms towards our chest, then with a massive force, stretched our arms opened and hit Mavvie and Winter in the stomach. We sent them flying across each side of the room. Winter landed on Mavvie's bed although he hit the dresser and collapsed on the ground.

"I've had enough of you all!" Hadden roared.

Their heads whipped up at the sound of his voice figuring out that it was Hadden and not me.

"I refuse to let you cause harm and hurt to Harvey!" Our breathing was hard and ragged.

Anju cautiously stepped forward to us, "Hadden-"

"You be quiet!" He ordered, "I'm not finished. Harvey trusts and loves you all. You have no idea how betrayed he's felt with you all ignoring him and yelling at him. Especially you!" We glared at Mavvie who was trying to get up from his hard hit.

"You're the beginning of these problems. If it weren't for our sisters here I'd throw you against every wall in this Mansion!"

I could see the fear in his eyes. Mavvie knew how aggressive my wolf could get.

Hadden don't harm anyone, please! I begged.

The pain was getting even worse now. So much that I felt like passing out.

Anju grabbed our wrist and held it tightly. We felt her power pushing me forward and him back.

"Give Harvey back Hadden. Please don't make me use my force."

He growled at stared at her for the longest time before giving up and I returned to my body.

"I... don't feel... well" I whispered before falling over.

I was out before I hit the ground.

Ooh we got a History lesson and some intense arguments in the same chapter. I had a different idea for how this chapter would happen but I figured this one worked more for the story better than the other one.
