banku with grilled tilapia

Banku ingredients
2 cups of corn🌽 dough
1cup of cassava dough
1 tbs of salt

Method

Mix all ingredients with 4 cups of water in a pot.
Place the pot on fire and stir till it becomes heavy. Cover the pot and let it simmer for some time. Stir again.
It's ready when the colour changes and gives off nice smell. Take it out and mould into small balls.

Pls must be kept in warmer container for freshness. Cos it is served hot ♨ with ground pepper or stew or soup

Ingredients for tilapia
3 medium sized tilapia ( fish)
2 medium sized onions
2 medium sized tomatoes
Some fresh pepper(green)
1 Small ginger
2 small garlic
1 lemon
3 tbs of olive oil
1 tbs of salt
METHOD
Take the scales and fins off the tilapia .
Pls wash your tilapia with water. Clean it with with the lemon 🍋 and wash it again.
Blend the pepper, garlic,ginger and onion.
Pour into a bowl, add the salt.
Apply the mixture on the fish(under the gills n allover).Then spray the oil onto the tilapia. Place it on the grill.
Turn it timely and spray the oil for easy grilling. 😍

Lastly add the remaining grind pepper mixture with the tomatoes n blend.
Pour it onto a plate and garnish it with slice onion (green pepper and tomato are optional).This is called meko by the Ashantis.

Now serve the banku with the meko with your nicely grilled tilapia 🍲😘
