palmnut soup(Ab3 nkwan)

Ingredients
A bowl of dried herring ( emane)
1kg beef
Some mushrooms (domo)
Salmon(grilled)
Palmnuts fresh
1/2 cup beans
Tomatoes
Pepper
Onions
Season (Maggi)
Garlic
Ginger.
3 cups lukewarm water

Method
Boil the Palmnuts n pepper with plenty of water for 20mins. When cooked pound it in a mortar with a pestel. Pound until the fruit is off the kernels and it becomes soft. Scoop the pounded palmfruit and the kernels from the mortar into a bowl. Add the lukewarm water. Stir and remove the kernels. Drain the rest leaving only the solute.
The Palmnuts liquid is the place on fire to cook. Add 1 cup of water and then the beans.cook for 5 minutes.
Note: Use a bigger saucepan for this step.
Put the emane, beef, salmon and mushrooms in the saucepan. Blend the ginger, onions and garlic. Pour into the saucepan. Add 1/2 cup of water and boil .
Blend the tomatoes and pour into the saucepan. Add the seasoning powder and salt.boil for 2 mins.Add the cooked Palmnut liquid, stir and leave to boil till preferred thickness is acquired.

This soup can be taken with fufu or riceballs.
