I'm going to warn you right now, their will be some triggers in this chapter, folks so if you can't handle it, well don't read it. Sorry.

Walter's POV

After everyone left, I couldn't find Kardia anywhere on the rooftop, so I left the rooftop thinking that Kardia left the party early to get some rest when I see her sleeping on the couch, her chest slightly rising and falling , fast asleep. I wanted to leave Kardia their sleeping on the couch but, then if one of the team members walk in, it will wake her up. I pressed my lip together and walk over to her. I pick her up, bradial style and walked up the stairs to put her into her bed.

I walk right into the room, realizing how clean and neat everything is. It kinda looks like everything has a place and order. I pull back the covers the best that I could, and place her on the soft materess. I grab the covers and pull it up to her chin, not knowing what to do next, so I awkwardly walk out of the room while closing the door.

Kardia's POV.

I don't know what woke me up at 5:23 in the morning. It was dead silent in the garage, which is kinda weird because it's never quiet in the garage. It's always loud and can give you a headache if you aren't used to it. It suddenly hits me that, I'm in my bed. I wasn't in my bed when I fell asleep, I was sure that I fell asleep on the couch. I kick off my covers as the news came with stories that I didn't read, that I didn't check up on, causing my mail box to be at 1,342. And we still haven't touched my news box! Great. So, I lay on my bed, scrolling past news articles that want my attention, and some that scream to me of interest, I read. So, that's what I did for the next hour and 5 minutes before I decided to get up and start to getting along with my day.

I hop into the shower, since I didn't take a shower last night because I fell asleep. I wash my hair with minty shampoo and conditioner, and wash my body with Sweet Pea from Bath and Body Works. I dry myself with a towel and tye myself with it and walk outside of the warm, moist bathroom to my room which is slightly cold. I go into my closet and pick out this:

I finish doing my make-up and hair, which I don't do much with it because I like my hair down most of the time

I finish doing my make-up and hair, which I don't do much with it because I like my hair down most of the time. I grab my leather jacket and shrug it on and slide my phone into the jacket pocket. I skip downstairs to see Walter and nobody else in the garage. I slowly down when I come down to the last few steps.

"Where's everyone?"

Walter didn't even look up from his computer , or flinch when I jumped up and down and the steps when I realized that he was in the earliest stages of being in the rabbit hole. I don't think I've even moved so fast in my entire life as I shut close the computer with just a flick of the wrist and yelled, "Walter!"

"Yes, sorry working." I studied Walter's eyes and I snap my fingers in front of them, causing them to blink as Walter's eyes started to water. He started to rub them. "Why did you do that?"

I scoff as I head the the kitchen, pouring some milk into a cup and put it in the mircowave for a few minutes. "Two reasons. One, you were in one of the earliest stages of head straight into the rabbit hole, which I don't need that on my belt. Two, you stopped blinking." The mircowave beeped and I grabbed some hot coco mix and some toast for breakfast and started to put some butter on my toast and mix the hot coco mix.
