I was a bit upset at first-- I thought you decided to back out at the last minute or something. I feel pretty stupid for thinking that now, actually, but I was quite emotional at the time. Now I realize that you probably had a good reason for doing so, and you didn't just ghost on me or something.

Did you mess up your schedule, and actually have classes that night? Or maybe you had a prior obligation? It happens, I get it. Just...read better next time, haha.

I’m back from Anyang. I spent a week there with my family, and my old friends, but I also spent it worrying about you.

I was worried sick about you. So much that it became literal for a few days. And as soon as I returned to campus, I ran over to the library to see if you’ve replied, or you have yet to return.

But what is this I’m faced with, instead? You’ve taken the letters I sent you. But you don’t reply?

I- just- is this real?

What have I done that was so wrong for you to just...ghost me like this?

I thought you really cared for me. I thought you genuinely liked me. Your words certainly said that.

But I guess you truly feel something else.

So if your mission was to lead me on? To make me believe in someone that didn’t exist? To just play one big joke on me? To have me foolishly fall for an illusion?

If you saw this all as one big game?

Then congratulations. You’ve sure as hell played me.
