Betty watched as the bullet flew right into Jughead's chest.
She immediately ran over to him as the killer ran off.
As quick as possible she called 911. Everything from there was a blur. All Betty really remembers is that the paramedics came and took Jughead to the hospital and there Betty was many hours later sitting in the hospital room with post-surgery Jughead in a deep sleep.
She tried calling FP but he didn't answer. She didn't know what to do until there was a faint groan.
Betty rushed over to the side of the hospital bed, "Jug? Are you awake?" she asked in a soft voice.
"Hey," he says, "What happened?"
"You got shot. We don't know by who but I'm sure Sheriff Keller will figure it out."
Jughead smiled. He just got shot and he was smiling.
"Why are you so happy?" Betty curiously asked him.
"Because you're here," he replied and Betty placed a soft peck on his forehead.
"I love you," she says.
"Oh, Betty Cooper, I love you too."
