"Surprise," Veronica says as she hands Archie a wrapped box.
"What's this for?" he asks, confused as he holds the box in his hands.
Veronica smiles. "Just open it," she says excitedly.
He hesitates but cautiously opens it to reveal a large wad of tissue paper, which he takes out and puts aside. "Veronica," Archie says, "I can't accept this. Why did you get this for me."
"Well," she says, "when we were at the mall I saw you eyeing it. Plus, every gentleman need a nice watch for any occasion, such as dinner with my family and dates."
"Thank you, but this must've cost a fortune," Archie says.
"Don't worry about it. I like spoiling my boyfriend," Veronica says as she wraps her arms around Archie's neck and places a kiss on his lips.
"We should get going," Archie says.
Veronica nods. "See you later?" she asks.
"Yeah," Archie says, "See you later."
