"Hey, Kevin," Moose says when he walks into the locker room and sees Kevin sitting on a bench, facing the other way. "Kevin?"

"Moose, don't. Please just go," Kevin says quietly with a sniffle.

"Hey," Moose says softly as he sits down behind him on the bench. "You know you can talk to me, right?"

Kevin slowly turns so he's sitting right beside Moose. "Have you ever felt so lost. So helpless. So alone," Kevin says, looking up at Moose with tear stained cheeks.

Moose takes his thumbs and wipes away what's remaining of Kevin's tears. "Why do you feel like that? What happened?" he asks.

"I'm not normal. I'm not viewed as normal. I'm the stereotypical gay best friend that everyone wants to be friends with but most of those friendships aren't even real. People want to be friends with me so they can say that they are friends with a gay person because it looks good on their character. No one likes me for me," Kevin explains.

"No one in this town is normal. In fact, I don't even think there is one person on this Earth that is normal, and if there is, they must be incredibly boring. As for no one liking you for you, I like you just the way you are. I like you for how unusually happy you are and how you always try to make other happy even at your own expense. Yes, you may be the stereotypical gay best friend but there is nothing wrong with falling into stereotypes as long as you are being true to yourself," Moose says. "You okay?"

"I'll be fine. I think I just need a hug," Kevin says.

"Come here," Moose says as he puts his arms around Kevin and Kevin hugs him back.

"Thank you," Kevin says.

"For what?" Moose asks.

"For sitting down when I told you to leave. For giving me the advice I needed to hear. For being a great friend," Kevin tells him and they part from the hug.

"Of course, I'm always here if you need to talk. I know what it's like to feel alone."

"What do you mean?" Kevin asks.

"I just mean that I've been through a lot too with losing Midge and life at home not being so great. I understand what it's like to need someone and for the most of it you were there and you are still here. I've lost friends, figuratively and literally and it sucks but at least I have you, and to me that's enough," Moose says.

Kevin looks over at Moose and could tell that he was hurting too. He's hurting yet he is so selfless that he is trying to help Kevin in any way he could.

Moose notices Kevin's gaze and looks over at him.

Kevin places a short kiss on Moose's lips.

"I'm sorry," Kevin says as he quickly looks down at the floor.

Moose smiles. "Don't be."

Kevin looks back up at him and Moose leans in and kisses Kevin this time. Again, the kiss was short but it was full of passion. Kevin pulled away and they stayed close, their foreheads touching and their breathing unsteady. Uncertainty filling the air.

Guys, I did it! I finally wrote the Mevin chapter that you've been asking for. There will be a part 2 in the near future so stay tuned for that!

Up next is... Cheggie, which, yes, is an insanely ridiculous ship and would never happen and I honestly don't even ship them that much but it was really fun to write and if they were a possible couple it would be interesting to see.

I love you all so so SO much. Have a lovely night❤️
