"Ooh," Betty says, "Veronica, truth or dare."
"I'll go with dare. I'm feeling dangerous tonight," she replies.
"Alright, I dare you to make an odd food combination and eat it."
"Easy," Veronica says as she walks into her kitchen and grabs a pickle and some ketchup, puts them together, and eats it.
"Really?" Jughead asks, "That's just like taking a pickle off of a burger and eating it."
"Oh, shush," Veronica says as she plops back down on the couch next to Archie. "My turn. Archie, truth or dare?"
"I'll go with dare," he says with a smirk.
"Oh my god," Veronica says, "Archie I dare you and Jughead to kiss."
"What?" Archie and Jughead say at the same time in confusion.
"Oh, c'mon. Out of all four of us you two are the only ones that haven't kissed," Veronica argues.
Archie and Jughead both look at Betty.
"I think you should do it," Betty says seriously.
"No, we can't kiss," Jughead says.
Betty laughs, "It's really no big deal, Jug. You were willing to kiss Veronica."
"Fine, I'll do it," Jughead says and stands up.
They all look at Archie.
"Archie?" Veronica asks.
"You guys are so stupid," Archie says with a laugh and stands up.
"Do you want me to count down from three or are you two just going to stand there?" Betty asks.
"Let's just do it," Jughead says.
"Alright," Archie says. "On the count of three."
"One," Jughead starts.
"Two," Archie continues.
"Three," they both say and immediately after give each other a peck on the lips.
"See, that wasn't so bad," Veronica says as they both sit back down.
"Alright," Archie says, "my turn. Betty, truth or dare?"
"After what just happened I'll play it safe and go with truth."
Archie laughs, "Out of all of us in this room, who do you think is the best kisser?"
"I'll have to go with Jughead, and I'm not saying that just because we're dating," Betty admits.
"Oh, I disagree," Veronica says.
"Who do you think the best kisser is, Ronnie?" Archie asks.
"Oh, Betty for sure."
"I can agree with that," Jughead says.
"Who do you think is the best kisser, Archiekins?" Veronica asks.
"Man, I don't know," he says sarcastically, "Jughead has some pretty nice lips."
Everyone laughs.
"But seriously," Archie says, "I'd say that Jughead is the best kisser."
"Glad we agree," Betty laughs.
The night was filled with jokes and laughter until it got late and the boys were instructed to leave before Veronica's parents arrived home. They decided to stop at Pop's to get a milkshake before going home.
"Those girls are something else," Jughead says as he takes a bite of his burger.
"Yeah, but in a good way," Archie agrees.
