"So what have you been doing while I was hospitalized?"
Kisame shrugged and pushed Haruka's wheelchair out of the white building. Despite being released from the hospital, she hadn't fully recovered yet, and the wheelchair is just one of the many efforts to make sure she doesn't tire herself out.
"What did I do?" he frowned, silently going through his memory, "I'm not sure, I was busy. Maybe looking for a suit with my size?"
"Ah, right. That."
"You sounded like you're forgetting about our wedding, princess," Kisame stated, letting out a small chuckle, "How cruel of you."
"I'm not. The preparation just hadn't crossed my mind again, until now. May I hear the update?"
"I booked the place. Haruno-san insisted on taking care of anything else we need, and I can't refuse. She's too persistent."
"Haruno Mebuki-san?" Kisame nodded, and Haruka let out a chuckle, "I know she is, she never changes."
Kisame sighed, "You're just as stubborn, actually."
"Thanks, I'm flattered. And what about my brothers?"
"They got their outfit ready, they already know their roles, and they're helping Haruno-san to keep me out of the work. They already picked the flowers and all, they said they don't believe in my eccentric taste." Haruka stifled a laugh, while Kisame snorted, "Itachi insisted that we can't have kunai as the souvenir."
"Exactly. We can't."
"Why? It's useful! I'd rather have that than handsoaps or bottle openers or ... well, you know what I'm talking about. My first idea was explosive candles, but then I thought not everyone loves fire."
"Explosive candles?? They might get injured by accident."
"... It's not like our guests are civilians..."
"It's not like you're criminal," Haruka retorted, pinching the bridge of her nose. She knows that Kisame is a good person at heart, but growing up in Kiri also cultivated his inner bloodlust.
Well, actually, growing up in the Bloody Mist will fuck up anyone's morals.
"I was an S-rank." Good point.
"You still are. But you're not a rogue, not anymore, so be civil."
"... Fine. At least do something with your brother's hair?"
"Sasuke's? What's wrong with his hair?"
Kisame groaned. "His hair is a real anomaly, naturally sticking out like that. It looks weird."
"Just like your gills, but you don't see me complaining." Haruka shrugged, "Just kidding, I like your gills. Sasuke's hair looks fine, it will give an eccentric touch on the photo later."
"... You're more insane than I am..." Kisame stopped the wheelchair in front the house and unlocked the door.
"I'm pretty sure we're on the same level." Haruka smiled, "So what do we have to do now?"
Kisame pushed the wheelchair inside and closed the door.
"I'll take care of you, and you'll focus on your recovery, Princess."

"Hey guys. It has been a while... How are you?"
Haruka was sitting in front of the memorial stone, her hand gently traced two of all the names carved on it; her teammates'.
"I hope you're alright up there. It has been years, and I'm pretty sure you already heard about everything from my parents. Shisui, at least." She let out a sigh, "I killed my whole clan. It's kinda unexpected, but I hope you don't hate me for it."
