*The Next Day*
Haruka's P.O.V.
I woke up with a slight headache. I closed my eyes as soon as I open them, not used to the light.
"Nee-chan?" Someone called. Slowly, I opened my eyes again, to meet a pair of onyx eyes staring straight at me. I let out a shriek.
"Sasuke! Don't do that!" I protested, receiving a grin from the Duck-butt.
"Come on, Nee-chan! It's already 9 in the morning!"
My eyes twitched. I slept that long?! The rain had really drain me out, that's for sure.
"And?" I asked, causing him to pout.
"You promised to take us for dangos!"
I chuckled. "Yeah... right. Let me get dressed first."
He cheered, before walking out of the room, closing the door behind him.
I sighed as I put on my usual ANBU attire, not caring about the fact that today I have no mission, except that one.
"Alright, Sasuke. Let's go." I said, as I exited my room.
"Nii-san! Come on!" Sasuke yelled, as he ran towards me, dragging Itachi with him.
"Wait a minute!" I shouted, crossing my arms. "You're taking Weasel with you, Ducky?!"
"Of course!"
"Onee-san, can't I go along?"
I chuckled, shaking my head.
"Right... Just let me pay my debt." I muttered, walking out of my house.
Fugaku's P.O.V.
"They're so sweet." Mikoto said, as she puts a cup of tea in front of me, her eyes locked to our 3 children, who had just walked out of the house. Sasuke on Haruka's back, and Itachi behind them.
"I know." I replied with a sigh, taking a sip of my tea.
"What about Haruka?"
"She ignored me." I said simply, looking away.
"You did it first."
"Doesn't mean she can do it, too. I'm the head of the Uchiha clan, for Kami's sake. Even the Hokage respect me. And Haruka... She gave me a silent treatment for months!" I exclaimed, shaking my head in disapproval.
"For her, you're a father, nothing more."
"And she can ignore her father?"
Hearing this, my wife let out a soft laugh. "My, my. Like father, like daughter. Such a big ego you have there."
"Ego?" I asked.
She sighed, as she sat next to me.
"Can't you think from her point of view? You expect too much from her. You always want her to be perfect. She hates that. And one day, she just explodes. That's all."
"Mikoto... How can you say that as if it was nothing important?"
"Because it's your problem, not mine. She's your daughter. And you're the only one who can finish this conflict."
I growled, and stood up, walking back to my room.
I'm lucky Mikoto is my wife. Just imagine if I have Kushina. From what the Fourth Hokage had told me, that red head's scolding is worse than Mikoto.
Talking about the Fourth Hokage. If he didn't die at the attack 5 years ago, we might just didn't plan this coup d'etat. But my decision couldn't affect everything. The other Uchiha members still hates the village. Especially after the elders had accused us for being the one behind the Kyuubi attack.
