Life at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was hard, students had to leave everything they knew and go to a strange new place full of people they've never met. As years passed they would make friends, enemies, acquaintances, and lovers, they learned new spells and potions and wonderful, magical things.
Though, going to school with Harry Potter was a challenge, the Boy Who Lived. Everyone either looked to him like a king or wanted to squash him like a bug, there were very few people who were in the middle of that scale. One of them was a 5th year, same year as Harry, and in the Slytherin house. Her name was Victoria Moreau, she had a slight French accent when she spoke, though it wasn't very often. She wasn't shy by any means, she just didn't fancy being friends with any of these people, save a few.
Victoria Moreau was part veela, a small part, but enough to draw the attention of men when she walked. Blonde hair adorned her head, with striking green eyes the same color of emeralds. She lived with her mother and her father, but separately. Her parents had a falling out some years ago and got divorced, but it was easy. There was no screaming and crying, no throwing things out of windows. They lived in different homes in the same city, get together every so often to talk, about what, Victoria doesn't know. But she is happy with her life, she will visit her father one week and visit her mother the next. It wasn't a normal life, per say, but it was hers, and she loved every second of it.
Fifth year had started off a little strange, her mother owled to tell her that she would not be coming home for the holiday's but to a different home with the Weasley family. Victoria quite liked the Weasley's, though most of them had a large dislike towards her. For no specific reason, except that she was a Slytherin and all Slytherins are evil Death Eaters, which was not true in the slightest. Victoria hated Voldemort and all of his willing followers with passion, and felt pity for the children who were forced to follow in their parents footsteps. It was pathetic to her, that such a strong wizard needed teenagers to do his bidding. But of course no one would listen to her opinions except her best friend, who was a Ravenclaw.
Skye Hamilton was a wonderful person, most of the time. She was a genius in every sense of the way, reading books was her hobby, studying muggle contraptions her passion. Though, beneath it all, she was a prankster at heart, which is why she so loved the Weasley twins. Skye was the only reason the Weasley twins were friends with Victoria, and the only reason they saw her as who she really was and not a Death Eater.
Skye, compared to her best friend, was very outspoken and would never let anyone tell her who she was, and very often would scold Victoria for letting people think she was a Death Eater. Skye was a half blood, her father being a muggle and her mother being a pureblood witch. At a young age her father got her into muggle books which she carries around with her. She always had her long black hair braided neatly down her back, her blue eyes could easily stare into your soul if you pissed her off.
Skye went her first two years at Hogwarts without many friends until she had helped Victoria with her transfiguration homework. She wasn't so keen on helping a Slytherin because at the time she believed the same stereotype as everyone else. That was until she got to know her now best friend of two years.
Meeting the twins was a...different experience. They were a year older than Skye and Victoria, and they had a special love for messing up other people's lives. It was 3rd year, and Skye was walking to her class when suddenly slime covered her. At first, she assumed it was Peeves, the pranking ghost who roamed the hallways. But then she heard laughing that definitely didn't belong to Peeves, a flash of two heads of red hair gave it away automatically, the Weasley twins.
Soon enough, a prank war started, the pranks were never ending and the whole student body was tired of accidentally getting caught in the middle of the pranks. After months of exchanging pranks, the three finally met up. They talked forever, planning pranks and such, the three naturally became friends.
Fred and George were sceptical of Victoria at first, as she was silent and rarely looked up at them. Though as they planned more pranks with Skye, Victoria would sometimes fix the issues in the plans. Such as teachers rounds and prefects. The four of them made the perfect pranking team, and from then on every plan the twins made would be run through Victoria, to ensure perfection.
Victoria and Skye didn't have many friends, but the few they did meant the world to them.
