That night, I had gone back to my tent soon after Bellamy had left me. I couldn't take hearing them all laugh and mess around when Jasper was in so much pain. That didn't even include the fact that the last thing I saw was Bellamy leading a girl back to his tent.
I had to admit it was hard to see. It was obvious that I had been watching him interact with his group, but he never looked over. I wasn't sure if he was embarrassed to be seen around me because it would ruin his 'ruthless' reputation. But I knew I had no claim to Bellamy, so he had every right to be with other girls.
It's not like I liked him or anything.
Octavia was already in our shared sleeping space when I arrived, as she sat upon one of the cots set up in the room. She sat up when I stepped in, her face full of worry.
"What's wrong?" I ask immediately.
"I found someone while you were away," She responded shyly. "His name is Adam."
"That's great O!" I giggled, taking her arms in mine. "What's so bad about that?"
"Bellamy found us together," she blushed. I raised my eyebrows confused. "Like... together."
My mouth formed an O, as I realized they had been in a compromising situation.
"Oh my god," I reply blinking. "What did he do?"
If I knew anything about Bellamy it was that he was way too protective of his sister. He was probably off his rocker when he saw them together.
"Nothing, that's the problem," She said. "Him and Adam just went off together and he didn't say a word to me."
"Now that's strange." I reply. "He has an opinion on everything."
"I know." She says concerned.
After that, we spent quite a bit of time discussing Adam. She told me everything that had happened between then while we had been gone looking for Jasper. I was happy for her, but it did seem sudden to me. I couldn't approve of this guy until I met him. That is if Bellamy hasn't killed him by now.
"What about you?" She asked.
"What about me?" I returned the question.
"Have you found anyone?"
Without my permission, Bellamy's face appeared in my mind. I quickly dismissed this, thinking I just had more appreciation for him after he helped me out.
"No one comes to mind," I reply shyly.
"Oh, come on," she says tossing her blanket at my face. "There has to be someone you think is at least cute."
"Well..." I started to say but was interrupted by Clarke calling my name.
I shot Octavia an apologetic look before I put my jacket on and walked out of our tent.
I spent most of the night waiting my Jasper's side, per Clarke's request. She had also properly dressed my knee to avoid any type of infection, and it was still throbbing. I tried my hardest to stay awake, but my eyes eventually got heavier and heavier.
It's been a long day, I last thought.
An agonizing scream woke me from my slumber. I jumped up with a start to see Jasper thrashing in pain. Clarke, Finn, and Monty were all surrounding him, with concerned looks on their faces. I quickly got to Jasper's side.
