I dished out some hot broth into a bowl with the healing herbs, and handed it to Clarke. Clarke, Octavia, Monty, Finn and I had all been tending to Jasper since they had returned with needed medicinal herbs. Clarke brought the dish up to his lips and slowly let him have a sip. Jasper's skin was pale and shiny, but he looked to be improving.

I had tried to speak to Bellamy after the fight him and Murphy had earlier, but instead found that he now had a guard placed in front of his tent who refused to let me in to see him.

"I'm really sorry about Adam," Clarke said to Octavia, who was cradling Jasper's head as he sipped.

Octavia looked over to meet my eyes, and I nodded sympathetically over to her.

"I guess we're going to have to get used to people dying down here, aren't we?" She replied before looking down at Jasper. "But not you."

I looked over at Monty, who was staring sadly at Octavia. Everyone was. We had each concluded separately that it was dangerous down here, and Adam's death only confirmed this mental idea. We needed to be careful and stick together if we were to survive down in this hostile environment.

We soon found ourselves sitting in a circle around some lights we had brought up to this floor of the dropship. We sat in silence, as we all waited to see if Jasper would improve.

Monty passed a bottle of alcohol he had found over to me, but I simply passed it on to Octavia. I wasn't really in the mood to deal with that right now.

She took a swig, but soon cringed, "Disgusting! I love it."

I laughed quietly at her comment.

"Can I..." I heard someone struggle. "...get a hit of that?"

We all turned over to find Jasper's head raised looking at us.

We rushed over, and I found myself smiling out of relief. The others had similar expressions.

"Jasper!" Monty cried out.

Finn laughed and brought over a bottle of water, "Let's start with the soft stuff."

"Welcome back," I said, rubbing him arm in comfort.

We all took our turns welcoming him back, and letting him know how glad we were that he was alive and better. It felt like hours, but Clarke eventually made us back off so he could get his rest. The rest of them fell asleep soon after, as Octavia and I had made it back to our tent outside the dropship.

The next day was full of chaos. That night I had awoken several times due to the noise of the camp. At the time, I hadn't thought about the fact that it was the middle of the night and most people would have been asleep.

I came out of my tent the next morning to find a crying Clarke and the frightened faces of many other individuals. I looked around confused, trying to figure out what was going on only to find what looked like another body covered up with a blanket. After much investigating, I finally was told that it was Wells body that lay on the ground.

Mostly everyone had gathered around the body, looking to the people next to them for comfort. I can't say I blamed them though, people were dying around us.

"Clarke," I begin to say, trying to take her arm.

She pulled away from me, shaking her head.
