I was useless. I had no clue what I could help with, as I had no experience with this type of thing. I myself was barely functional. Clarke was making me sit down close by Finn to not only keep her eye on him but me. My side throbbed and standing up made me feel light-headed.

"The 100 are alive," I heard Raven call.

Turning my head, I could see she was wearing a headset.

"I repeat the 100 are alive," She smiles unbelievingly. This must mean she got a radio to work. The only people I could assume she was talking to was the ark.

Octavia, who was beside me, squeezed my shoulder.

"This means we might be able to save Finn," She explains what I had missed. "Clarke said she needs her mother's help."

I nodded in understanding. I could now hear Clarke now address her mother while we were talking.

"Mom, I need your help." She says. "One of our people was stabbed by a grounder."

"Clarke, this is the chancellor. Are you saying there are survivors on the ground?" I heard his voice say through the unsteady connection of the radio.

"Yes," She replies simply. "The earth is survivable, we're not alone."

Silence is heard on the other end of the connection.

"Mom, he's dying." She replied with shaky breath. In a way, it confirmed everything I suspected about her and Finn's relationship.

"She loves him," I whisper to Octavia.

"Duh," she replies teasingly.

We listened as Clarkes mom starts to explain how she can help before she cuts out.

"Raven, what's going on?" I question.

"It's not the radio, it's the storm." She replies frantically.

The storm outside was raging, and the banging against the dropship walls was getting overwhelming with the door open. Bellamy. He was still out there, doing god knows what.

"Monroe, shut the doors." Clarke calls out.

"We still have people out there," She replies.

"Bellamy isn't back yet," I called out from where I sat.

"We can't shut the door on him," Octavia chipped in.

Clarke looks up at us in sympathy. "It's all right, they'll find somewhere to ride it out."

Monroe goes over to shut the door right as the man in question walks through the doors. He's drenched in rain water, and looks half frozen himself.

"Bellamy, you're back!" Octavia says smiling in his direction.

Her smile soon drops as she peers around his shoulder. "What the hell are you doing?"

I move over as soon as my injured body allows to see Bellamy and a few of him men let a tied up body fall to the ground.

My blood ran cold when I saw it was the grounder who had held me hostage.

"It's time to get some answers," was Bellamy's simple and short answer.

I looked him over and saw he was obviously exhausted. I wasn't sure it was answers he was searching for or revenge.

"Get him upstairs." Bellamy yells out.

Sure enough the others were complying with his orders, including Jake.

"This isn't right Bellamy," My hoarse voice calls out.

I could practically feel Octavia's rage from beside me.

I was currently clutching my side in an attempt to breath better. Everything hurt and standing up to watch the commotion wasn't helping my case.

"Look at you Violet." He gestures toward your injured body. You huffed, frustrated that your body betrayed you. "This is because of him."

"No she's right." Clarke interrupted stepping in the middle of us. "This isn't who we are."

"It is now." He said walking away, leaving no room for argument.

I hobbled to follow him and slowly pulled myself up to the middle level of the dropship.

"Wait Bellamy." I called out.

To my surprise he halted his movements and turned towards me. His eyes gave nothing away, but something between us had changed since he had rescued me not even 48 hours ago. He gestured at everyone around us to go down below, leaving us utterly alone.

"What exactly are you planning on doing to him?" I questioned hesitantly.

"Whatever I need to in order to get the answers we need." He replies harshly.

"I realize your upset but please don't do this. You're better than this." I decided to ignore his harsh reply by softly cupping my palm to his face.

"Kitten you have no idea what I'm capable of." He replies fiercely.

I stare at him for a second, contemplating his behavior after what had transpired between us.

"I know what you're doing and it's not going to work." I shake my head.

"What exactly am I doing?" He replies with his signature smirk.

"You're trying to keep me at a distance because you're afraid of what's going on between us."

I took a step closer until there was not even air separating our bodies. I felt his breathing speed up and I could even feel his heartbeat pounding in his chest, vibrating into mine. My hand came up to rest on his chest right over his heart feeling it's strong and erratic beating. His eyes bore into mine and I couldn't stand the intensity of how he was looking at me.

His mouth opened in what seemed like protest but nothing came out.

"For the record Bellamy," I start almost whispering. "I'm terrified too."

"I don't know what you're doing to me Violet." His voice comes out hoarse.

His arms come closed around me and I reached up to connect our lips.

Unlike the fast and passionate kisses we had shared before this was slow and sweet. He tasted amazing and I couldn't get enough. He took his time in moving his lips against mine, savoring the intimacy of lips meeting.

The dropship hatch opened up and we quickly separated.

"What the hell?" Someone's voice echoed. "You know what, I don't want to know. Violet, Octavia is asking for you."

I turned to see Monty and I nodded in acknowledgement even though my face was beet red.

Bellamy's face was actually lit up in a smile, finding amusement in his reaction. He had a beautiful smile and his whole face shinned. It made me want to see it more often.

But his expression changed as I started to move away.

"I'm sorry Violet but I have to do this."

I was confused at first, but soon realized what he meant. The grounder was no doubt still tied up somewhere above us waiting for Bellamy to arrive and act as torturer.

The thought made me shiver and I shook my head quickly.

He did not change course and moved up to the grounders level above us leaving me to stand there alone in silence.

How had I fallen for Bellamy Blake?
