Look who's here

CHAPTER 4.

I woke up in the body of an 8 months old baby. I felt my knees a lot closer to my body. I felt a bit cringed. A man and a woman were staring at me. I couldn't talk. I was confused but it seemed they didn't notice. Someone rushed into the room.
"They're here" she said, and the couple looking at me looked at each other and nodded. The woman started sobbing. Apparently, they had made a decision. The woman gestured over the capsule I was lying in and it was glass covered. I felt myself suddenly drop. I saw fire all around then, a wormhole? Opened and it sucked me right up into it. I found myself falling from a night sky with some rocks. After a long free fall, splash! In the water I went. It was all black and then blurry. As I slowly opened my eyes, I heard people chattering something like "he's back" and I heard some other people running about.
"Mr. Ogochukwu?" a voice said, I still wasn't sure where I was but I felt normalcy again. The water drained out and the lid opened.

"Where am I?" I asked

"At the agency" Mr. Tolu answered.

I got out and was given towels and taken to my quarters. I think I passed out.

When I woke up, I saw pieces of metal sticking out my body, well, it looked metal ish.
I jolted out of the bed scared shrekless. And it all went back in. The doors opened and Mr. Tolu came in with some other guys and some scientists. Mr. Ofuchi, one of them asked about my health and I told him I was fine. He checked my pupil reactions, my tongue, doctor stuff.

"How long was I asleep?" I asked.

"Seven weeks and six days" Mr. Ofuchi answered.

"Holy cow!" I exclaimed in utmost surprise. "My family, my school, Danny... See, sir, people would be looking for me by now and my mum will be worried beyond comprehension." I continued

"That's already taken care of" he said stepping aside and my mum stepped forward.

"You kidnapped her too?" I asked seriously surprised.

"No hon, I work here" she said worried.

"Tell me what I don't know?"
I said half sarcastically, hoping she'd not affirm the statement.

"I'm serious, I work with the R and D. We're researching gamma energy" she said nearly smiling.

"But you're a nurse right?"

"Yeah, I am that also" she said smiling, "my day job" she added.

She was smiling at me, checking me for abnormalities and I was just there still gathering my thoughts.

One of the men with Mr. Tolu touched his ear piece, and said, "sir, the Governor is on the line, channel 2". Mr Tolu picked up the remote on the desk and probably pressed 2? The governor of Rivers state came up. He started rather quickly.

"Tolu, it seems like what happened the last time you tried an extraction, has happened again and people are saying they saw a space ship?" He paused. Mr. Tolu held his head

"Oh no, this is not good" Mr Tolu exclaimed.

"Sure!" The governor continued, "we're going to get the military to investigate because I don't think the police are well equipped for this and it's a little above their pay grade."

"True sir"

"And you know why I can't send you right?"

"Yes sir, I'm aware of the reason sir."

On a crashed ship, the captain yells, sparks flying here and there, everyone trying to get out of their chairs and stuff.

"Captain, we have multiple engine failures, complications with the AI, the arc reactor seems to have powered out, looks like the core is fried and without a workstation and some numborium, I don't think we're leaving this place" one of the crew men said.

"What the hell happened?" She asked, "...and where are we for Drako's sake?" She added angrily.

Lights flashed into the ship, helicopters were at the scene. Foot soldiers had surrounded the area around the ship. The Nigerian Army had turned up. The captain stepped out with some of her crewmen and the soldiers propped ready.

"Where is this place? and who are you people?" She asked rudely, "where is your leader?"

A huge man stepped forward and introduced himself.
"I am General Ibrahim. And you miss, are in PortHarcourt Nigeria." He said with an air of confidence. "Who are you?"

"I am Lumerer Chaldean of the emerald fleets and you're going to Fix my ship."

"Wow lady, hold up. We could help you in our capacity but where we can't, we would have to make other arrangements"

"Poor fool, I wasn't asking." She said smiling and mega sized guns popped out of the sides of the ship.
