Sorry I haven't written in a while. Happy New year

CHAPTER 19.

"You're not going alone." Mr Tolu said.

"No sir, I have to do this alone. I don't want anyone dying on me" I replied, putting on my shirt.

"These are soldiers, they signed up for this. And BTW, some of them have personal beef"

I nodded.

"So when do we head out"

"Inna week" Mr Tolu replied.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, we need to gather more Intel and improve our hard ware"

Stopped me in my tracks. I was dumbfound and confused.

"So, why are you telling me today?"

"So when you meet the lumerer, you can say something like, 'I've waited a long time for this' or some other superhero crap" he replied, shrugging and walking away.

"Well, my next week has been set." I said. I need to see Danny.

So, I go to see Danny right? And he's at home. We talk and he gives me this crazy idea right? Check it out... And yeah, I can break the fourth wall.

"Danny, the DUA wants to finally launch an attack on the lumerer and I'm going but they putting me off, till next week"

"What do you wanna do?" He said staring sternly at me.

"I don't know, the lumerer called my mother, she was the one that killed her" I said clenching my fist. "I want to end her before she hurts someone else and without collateral damage" I continued, remembering the soldiers lost on my watch in that first raid. "I can totally take care of myself" I said materializing a slithering blade round myself why materializing a mask and full metal blade wings with guns in my hands. He was amazed.

"Dude, you're good to go, tonight." I cocked my head at him and he continued. "Yes, I'm serious, if you go alone, you won't have any Dead weight to take care of, you know what they say, strong men are stronger alone" he stopped and continued staring at me.
(Yes guys, that was his epic idea, stunot stupid. What could go wrong right?)
"Hello" he cut in, "did you hear me?" He faked a British accent.

It was 8:37pm and I had taken a cab to the secondary vicinity of the lumerer. I strapped on my backpack. What was in the backpack you'll ask? Fusion and fission bombs, smoke bombs, an EMP and a distress beacon for the DUA to find me if things went South.

I was set, I went on to the primary surrounding through the bushes of course with utmost caution. Then I saw a clearing with a really high fence. We didn't go through this way the first raid.

I got close enough and fired the EMP. This particular EMP has a blast radius of 5 miles. It turned of all the lights and probably the cameras. I materialized a shield and advanced.
 
Getting to the gate, it was locked, keypad. Stupid me, I didn't consider the fact that the building was supposed to have a gate that weighed a short ton and was automatically operated. I didn't have time to cry over milk. I materialized pick axes and began to scale the walls. I got over and into the building.
People were waiting for me.

There were three groups of lackeys, five men each. The first group to the far left wore Xanthic clothes, the middle cyan and the last green.

I materialized an AK. Their first shot came through. I used my shield. I wouldn't say I have Spidey senses but my reflexes were quick. I dematerialized the AK and rolled sideways and away from the continuous rapid fire, ending up behind the elevated platform. I had to scatter the sheep. I looked for the nearest exit and threw one of the fusion bombs. It exploded and I rushed out immediately. Materialized throwing stars and paralyzed some people. With the distraction, I was able to put down a lot of people. I threw the smoke bomb and made for the door across the courtyard.

I got there and the door needed a keycatd to open, guess what, I didn't have one. I searched my bag for something useful. Nothing! I got my stuff together and materialised a thin keycard look alike, I tried it in... Voila! It didn't open. A shot rang out and destroyed the loc. Inadvertently, I materialized a shield from my back and continuous shots came through. There was a whirr and the  door opened. So, if I had destroyed the pad earlier, I'd have gone in? I ran in and immediately, the door shut behind me. I materialized shields just in case any guns popped out. I advanced.

There were no guns, it was just free. I walked with caution. As I advanced taking careful steps and taking rights at any fork in the road. The air was getting colder and a voice came through.

"You know I was born on the moon right?" My spine went cold. "The weather was always cold. I wouldn't say weather but, whatever."

"What does that have to do with me and WTF?" I said, looking round and still on guard.

"Ugh! Just Shut up and listen." The voice shot out. "I was supposed to be the monarch but I was deprived. A bastard came along at the 'right' time. Yay" the latter was said sarcastically. The voice kept droning on and I followed it to its source.

I got there and saw a figure in a massive armour like Savitar from "the flash" had. It turned around to face me. The armour opened like Tony Stark's did in Homecoming when he took the Spiderman suit. It was beautiful. I saw a woman step out, Approximately six feet tall or more. She was really beautiful and had a cute scar on her face like Scar from 'Simba' had. Totally badass. It was so beautiful that I suddenly started chuckling and laughing hysterically.
