~two days after~

(Michael)

I woke up at 12 a.m. and went to see if Anne was awake, I should have known that she always wakes up at 9 a.m., even if she is on vacations. To be honest , I don't know how she does it.

"Morning." I passed her on my way to the kitchen.

"Good morning." She answered not taking her eyes off her phone.

"So what do you want for lunch? We still have the left over pizza but if you want a salad or something like that, we have to go grocery shopping."

"Then lets go. I can't eat pizza three days in a row."

"Okay let me just take a shower and grab a breakfast pizza so we can go."

"Seriously, Mike?! I don't know how you stay so thin living off pizza and if I eat it for lunch and dinner I gain four pounds."

"I just have a quick metabolism, Anny."

We went to the grocery store in the small mall near our block and I convinced her to buy noddles and some other chinese food, which was definitely better than a salad.

After that, Anne wanted to check the stores and she almost dragged me inside an underwear store but I didn't let her.

I got a call from Luke and since he is helping me with all this tattoo stuff, we arranged to meet on the street of the bar at 6 p.m. so we could finally speak to the bartender. Now I am getting used to the tattoo, and I admit that I like it, but I would love to know why I got it, why that night and why that sentence. Tattoos can't just be meaningless to me.

Now all I had was some time to kill, I went on my twitter and all I would see was Lilian, my ex posting tweets like "If regretting something killed, I would already be buried underground." and "One stupid mistake does not define you but it does change your life dramatically. "

I get it, she feels bad, but she should of thought about that before nailing Calum.

After a few hours of stalking Alex Gaskarth on twitter and tumblr, I saw that it was already 5 p.m., which meant that it was cereal time and I had to get ready to leave in forty five minutes.

The time flew by and when I noticed it was already 5:43, I left my house and met Luke.

Two girls brushed passed us and I kind of recognized one of them, I just didn't remember from where. Maybe I saw her on the mall.

When I finally saw the bartender, I remembered his name was Carl and greeted him.

After I told him the story he just replied:

"It's funny because there were two girls just here asking me about the same thing, so I'll tell you what I told them- you were with one of them last night and, after you two got to know the basics of each other, you were teasing her because she never did something risky, or as you called it, fun, so she told you she always wanted a tattoo and you said you knew a guy.

You held her hand in yours for a long time and when you looked into her eyes you said that they looked like stars and when she looked at yours, she said they were pieces of the moon. Somehow you two ended up kissing and you said you loved her to the moon and she replied with I love you to the moon and back. It's crazy how you two had just met and had a deep connection but some people are like that I guess.

After that you two left and that's all I know."

"Thanks, that helps. Did she tell you her name?"

"You were acting like boyfriend and girlfriend and you don't even remember her name?!"

"Hey, I was drunk!"

"Fine. I think you called her Charlotte when you were with her but her friend called her Chuck when they were here."

"Thanks, if you see that girl again, can you give her my number?"

"So you didn't knew her name nor had her phone number, but apparently you got a tattoo together?"

"Yes. Can you just give her my number?"

"Sure. You two look like you are in a really bad movie."

And we do look like we're in a movie and we're meant to find each other and be together and make beautiful babies. Michael what are you saying?! You don't even know the girl! She might just seem perfect on the pub because you were both drunk.

I really need to stop talking to myself.

Me and Luke left the pub as I thought about the only tattoo artist that comes to my mind, Calum's brother, Brad. As much as I didn't want to go meet someone related to that asshole I really needed to know where I can find that girl, which was either Charlotte or Chuck.

We went to the tattoo shop and met the person I was just wanting to see, Brad.

"Hey mate." I waved at him as I entered the shop.

"Hi, Michael. I was just looking for you, you still owe me 50 bucks from the tattoos, you and the girl only had enough money to buy one tattoo, but since I know you, I told you that you could pay me later. That is what you are here to do, right?" The covered in tattoos copy of Calum, announced. Something I didn't quite wanted to hear, because of the circumstances.

"That's not quite what I was planing on doing here today, but I will pay you, I promise.

What I wanted to ask you was, about that girl I was with, did she leave you her name or cellphone or address?"

"Wait, you don't even know her name?" I nodded as he continued. "It's crazy because I had to told you to stop making out like ten times, and you seemed so in love. Now you're telling me you don't even know her name." He paused with a disbelief look across his face as he checked the computer where they wrote the information about their costumers. "Charlotte Cardozo. I think this is her address." he showed me a familiar street on the computer and I knew I had to go there.
