I woke up and had breakfast before realizing we only had 10 minutes to get ready and Noémi wasn't even awake so I dragged her out of bed. We almost had to ran to the studio but we arrived on time and Anne Marie didn't have to kill us.

"Girls, we have a new student joining us today, she was in a dance academy in Portugal and you may know her from the Portuguese adaptation of the musical 'The Phantom Of The Opera', Susana Blue." Anne Marie introduced her.

We all clapped our hands and greeted the beautiful brunette. She danced very well, and when she was dancing I could have sworn I recognized her face. There was only one thing on my mind, but it couldn't be.

"Hi, you're Charlotte right? Chuck?" She asked.

"That's me." I answered with a smile, ignoring how strange the whole situation was.

"I was one of your mother's students, she was a lovely woman."

"Oh, thanks.” The smile on my face faded as she mentioned my mom.

"And, hum, my dad was kind of dating your mom, he was in the car accident with her. I'm sorry." Her eyes started tearing up so I just hugged her, I lost my mom but she lost her dad too.

My mom was one of the best dancers of London but, once you're past thirty five, you don't have many job offers, so when a chance of opening her own academy appeared, she didn't think twice. My father wasn't very happy that this academy had to be in Portugal so all they did was fight, of course this lead to divorce and since my life was here, I stayed with my dad.

Three years ago, Anne Marie dispensed me from class and I knew there was something wrong. When I got home my dad told me that my mother had been in a car accident and that she didn't make it. My world crashed but four months fixed it because the distance made me grow apart from her. However, last year was hell for me when my dad got diagnosed with cancer and died three months after. I'm still not over him being gone, Noémi was already my best friend so I moved in with her and the Irwin's really supported me, being my second family. I don't think I would be alive if it weren't for them.

"I have been here in London for more than a month but I was too scared to look for you, I knew you had dance lessons here because your mom told me a lot about you, even not being here, she loved you a lot. I didn't have enough money to start the classes so I applied to any job available in this area and I am currently taking the shift of a waitress in a pub nearby, but she is on vacations so I don't know what will happen in two weeks when she returns." She admitted.
