Riverdale Falls

2: Caroline. Damon. Stefan. Jughead.

"Hi, I'm Caroline Forbes. Nice to meet you." Caroline smiles.
"I'm Betty Cooper. Nice to meet you too." Betty smiles.
"Do you know where Bonnie is?" Elena asks.
"I think she's with her grams. I don't know." Caroline tries.
"I'll call her." Elena walks off to call Bonnie.

"So. How long have you and Elena known each other?" Caroline asks, in a challenging tone.
"A long time. Basically our whole lives. I can't even remember the days I didn't know her." Betty smiles.
"Hmmm, were you friends as soon as you met?" Caroline sips her drink.
Betty couldn't tell what kind of drink it was, because it looked unfamiliar.

"Yes. We got along straight away." Betty nods.
"Hmm. Well that's good. How long do you plan on staying?" Caroline asks.
"I don't know yet. I mean, there's no rush for me to get home."

Jughead is calling...

Missed call from Jughead.

"Who's call did you just purposely miss?" Caroline asks, signalling for a waiter at the mystic grill to get us some more drinks.
"Oh, it's no one." Betty shakes her head.

"Let me see." Caroline snatches Betty's phone.
"Jughead? Is that like a creepy nickname for your boyfriend of something?" Caroline asks, judging both Jughead and Betty.
"Just get over it." Betty snatches her phone back.

"Bonnie isn't picking up." Elena sighs.
"Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got to go." Caroline smiles.
"How about I take you to meet Stefan?" Elena suggests.
"Sounds great."  Betty smiles.

"Ugh, bye to you too." Caroline rolls her eyes.
"Oh, sorry care." Elena blushes.
Elena and Betty wave goodbye to Caroline and head out of the Mystic Grill, accidentally leaving Betty's phone on the table.

Jughead is calling... 

"Hello?" Jughead calls.
"Hi, this is Caroline speaking." Caroline grins.
"Um...hi." Jughead says, "Where's Betty?"
"On her way to Stefan's house." Caroline smiles.
"Who's Stefan?" Jughead asks.
"I don't know, Betty won't tell me." Caroline lies.

"Is there anyway I could talk to her?" Jughead asks.
"Not at the moment. She left her phone here."

"How about you come see her in person? Maybe convince her to go home?" Caroline suggests.
Jughead didn't say anything.
"Before she gets to close with Stefan." Caroline adds, smirking.

"Where are you?" Jughead asks.
"Mystic falls. Come see Betty, maybe take her back to Riverdale?" Caroline smiles.
Jughead hangs up.

"Stefan! Damon?!" Elena calls, both Betty and her entering the Salvatore boarding house.
Suddenly Damon appears behind Betty.
"Hello." He smirks.

"Where's Stefan?" Elena asks.
"Who's this?" Damon grins at Betty, ignoring Elena's question.
"She's my friend from Riverdale." Elena folds her arms across her chest.

"Where is Stefan?"
"Dealing with a girl." Damon smirks.
"Which girl?" Elena asks.
Betty stays completely quiet.

Damon tilts his head quickly to Betty, gesturing that he can't say because she's in the room.
"Betty, this is Damon, my boyfriends brother." Elena rolls her eyes.

Betty and Damon shake hands.

"She fed." Stefan says loudly
"Oh, hey Elena." He kisses her on the forehead.
"This is Betty, my friend from Riverdale." Elena smiles.

"Hey Stefan." Betty smiles.
Stefan politely smiles back at Betty.

"Elena can we talk?" Stefan asks.
"Yeah sure." Elena and Stefan walk into another room.

Damon grins at Betty.
"What brings you to Mystic Falls?" Damon asks.
"Elena." Betty smiles, "It's our first time seeing each other in a while."

"What do you think of Mystic falls?" Damon asks.
"Oh, well, so far I like you, Stefan and Elena. Oh, and Jenna. I haven't met anyone else yet...apart from Caroline, but she's a bit annoying." Betty says.
Betty thinks for a while, Why did I say that out loud?.

Damon laughs, "She is very annoying."

"Yesterday, I found a girl almost dead on the side of the road. I gave her some of my blood and I left her. It turns out that after I had given her blood, Damon killed her, unaware of the vampire blood in her system." Stefan explains.
"So, she's a vampire now? She fed?" Elena shakes her head.
"I made her feed, I didn't want her to die." Stefan says.
"Well good."

"I plan on teaching her to feed on animals and not humans, to keep people like you and Betty safe." Stefan assures.
"Speaking of keeping Betty safe, let's keep her away from Damon." Elena says.
"Sure." Stefan agrees.
