7: Jughead meets Damon

Authors note: Hey, so it has almost been exactly a year since my last chapter was posted and I'm so so sorry. I've had a lot going on but I plan on continuing this story and maybe starting some other ones? I hope you guys enjoy this chapter and the many others to come!

Betty pulls herself out of Stefan's bed, feeling lightheaded and dizzy. She decides to get out of her clothes as they are sweaty and covered in blood. She walks around Stefan's large room looking for a shirt, but can't find any she likes. Betty wanders out of Stefan's room and into another room (probably Damon's) and starts looking for a shirt. She finds a nice shirt and a cool leather jacket to put on. She leaves Damon's room and finds the kitchen where she sees Elena.
"Elena?!" She yells.
"Betty, hi." Elena smiles gently.
"When did you get here?" Betty asks.
"Around fifteen minutes ago. I was on the phone with Stefan and he told me he was with one of his friends so I thought I should come check on you but when I got here you were asleep." Elena sips from her glass of water.
"Please don't talk to Stefan anymore. I don't trust him or Damon." Betty warns.
"Why?" Elena asks.
"This is going to sound really insane but....Damon and Stefan are....VAMPIRES."
Elena sits down.
"Did you hear me Elena? They're real life vampires!! Both of them!"
"Betty....I already knew. I've known for a while. That's why I don't like Damon, he's not trustworthy, but I know he would never hurt us."
Betty frowns even more because Damon did hurt her, but she wasn't going to tell Elena that.
"And I know Stefan. He is an amazing guy who only feeds off animals. He will keep you safe I promise. I love him and we can trust him." Elena rubs Betty's arm gently.
Betty hesitates, "Can we go back to your house? I want to see Jeremy again."

Veronica struts out of the bathroom at the grill after re applying her makeup to cover up that she was crying. She scans the grill hoping to see Jughead or any familiar face.
"Veronica." Caroline says from behind her.
Veronica turns around quickly to face Caroline.
"Oh, hi Caroline." 
"Nice necklace! Pearls look great on you." Caroline smiles.
"Thank you" Veronica smiles, "You have good taste."
Caroline giggles, "I know."

"Have you seen Jughead anywhere?" Veronica asks.
"No, why?" Caroline asks.
"I need a ride back to Riverdale."
"Awww it's a shame you and Betty couldn't stay longer." Caroline lies.
"Actually Betty has decided she's going to stay for a while." Veronica says.
"Oh yay! That's so good." Caroline fake smiles.
"Do you want to help me find Jughead?" Veronica asks.
"Sorry but not really. How about I just drive you back to Riverdale instead. I'm pretty sure Jughead will want to stay here with Betty for a while anyways." Caroline offers.
"Oh, you don't have to."
"But I want to! It will give us some bonding time and I've always wanted to go to Riverdale." Caroline insists, "So let's go."
"Thank you Caroline." Veronica smiles.
"Call me Care."

"Ahahahaha" Ellie laughs.
Incoming Call From Elena....
"Stefan you're so funny!" Ellie smiles, putting her hand on his shoulder.
Missed call from Elena.
"I missed a call from Elena." Stefan says.
"Oh...Elena. She'll call you back if it's important. Now tell me more about Lexie." Ellie insists.
"I'm going to call Elena back." Stefan as he walks away.

"Stefan hey." Elena says.
"What's wrong?" Stefan asks.
"So Betty knows about you and Damon and she's a little shaken up so I decided to take her back to my house so she can have a shower and see Jeremy again."
"What about Betty's friend Veronica?"
"No one else was with her when I got there."
"Oh." Stefan says.
"So I'll probably just see you tomorrow?" Elena asks.
"Actually I was thinking you, me and Ellie could have dinner togther. I'd love for you to meet her." Stefan suggests.
"What about Betty?" Elena asks.
"She can bond with Jeremy and Jenna."
"Ok. I'll see you soon."
"Bye" Stefan hangs up.

"Did I hear my name in that conversation?" Ellie smirks.
"Ahaha yes actually. I was hoping you, me and Elena could all have dinner together."
"That sounds nice I guess." Ellie frowns and looks to her feet.
Stefan puts his hands gently around Ellie's face and looks her in the eyes, "What's wrong?"
"I'm just worried about meeting her." Ellie says.
"It'll be okay. I'll be there with you and Elena is amazing, I really think you two will be good friends." Stefan smiles and lets go of her.

Jughead walks into the Salvatore Boarding house yelling Betty's name. He runs up the stairs and into Stefan's room. No one is there. He continues running around the house screaming Betty's name but no one is there.
He calls her. No answer.
He keeps running around the house until he sees the entrance to the basement. He slows down and opens the door before heading down some stairs.
"Betty?" He calls.
"Hello" he hears.
"Betty!" He says, looking into an empty room with a locked door.
Suddenly a mans head pops up into the window and scares Jughead.
"Who are you?" Jughead asks.
"I'm Damon. Stefan beaten me and kept me locked down here for three days now" Damon lies.
"Oh. Are you ok?" Jughead asks.
"No. I'm hurt. Please open the door" Damon pleads.
Jughead unlocks the heavy door and pulls it open.
"There you go. Do you need anything?" Jughead asks.
Damon speeds out of the room and bites Jugheads neck and almost completely drains him of blood.
