9: morning (lack of better chapter name)

"Welcome to my crib." Veronica smiles.
"Woah this place is amazing." Caroline says, "You're so lucky."
"Veronica..who's this?" Hermione Lodge smiles.
"Hi, I'm Caroline Forbes. I met Veronica this morning in Mystic Falls." Caroline smiles.
"I didn't know you went to mystic falls today." Hermione looks at Veronica.
Caroline just smiles awkwardly.
"I was visiting Betty. She went down there this morning so Jughead and I quickly went to see if she was ok. Then I met Caroline and she offered to give me a ride home. She will be staying here a few nights and attending school with me." Veronica says, taking Caroline's wrist and walking to her room.
"Nice to meet you Mrs Lodge!" Caroline calls as Veronica drags her away.

I know it's late but could you please help me look for Damon?
Stefan types.
He looks at the text for a while before deciding to erase it. He didn't won't to disturb Elena at such a late hour. He slips his phone into his pocket and walks towards the couch where Jughead is lying. Jugheads eyes slowly open.
"Jughead, you're awake." Stefan says.
Jughead doesn't say anything. He just slowly reaches for his phone hoping Stefan won't notice.
"Not much of a talker?" Stefan asks.
Jughead holds his phone behind his back as he sits up and starts calling Betty.
Betty's phone rings.

Stefan pulls Betty's phone out of this second pocket and sees Jughead is calling.
"You have Betty's phone!" Jughead notices.
Stefan places Betty's phone on the bench next to the couch Jughead is sitting on.
"Look at me." Stefan says, "Tell me everything you remember about Damon"

The next morning
"You're so cute when you're asleep." Jeremy smiles.
"What about when I'm awake?" Betty grins.
"Even cuter." Jeremy kisses  Betty's forehead and gets out of bed.
Knock knock knock knock
"Jeremy! Wake up!" Elena yells, knocking on his bedroom door.
"Elena let me get dressed!" Jeremy yells, rushing to put some pants on.
Betty can't help but to giggle. He was still naked from the night he spent with Betty.
"Do you know where Betty is?! Jenna and I haven't seen her since last night and she's not in her room!" Elena says.
Both Betty and Jeremy freeze and look at each other.
"She woke up early and went to see Stefan I think." Jeremy lies.
"Get dressed!" He whispers to Betty.
Betty rushes out of bed and Jeremy smiles when he sees Betty's body again.
"Ok well I'm going to go visit Stefan. It's so weird how she went to see him without telling me. I didn't realise they were even close, especially because of yesterday" Elena says.
"Yeah it's weird, see ya" Jeremy rushes.
"Can I come in? We never talk anymore" Elena asks
"No!" Jeremy yells, "Bye Elena!"
Betty and Jeremy hear Elena sigh and then walk off. Jeremy grabs Betty's waist and pulls her closer, "You're so hot"
"I'm also is a rush! Thanks to you Elena is going to Stefan's house looking for me!" Betty smiles, pecking him on the lips before rushing out of his room.
"Wait Betty!" He calls.
She pops her head through the doorway.
"Yes?"
"What did Elena mean when she said especially after yesterday?"
"Oh nothing, bye!"

"Morning sleeping beauty." Veronica smiles.
"V? Oh I forgot I was here. What time is it?" Caroline asks.
"10. We have brunch plans with Archie in an hour so we have to get up." Veronica says.
"Okay, also you were hogging the blanket last night." Caroline giggles.
"Oh shut up, this is my bed remember?" Veronica laughs.

Veronica gets out of bed wearing a beautiful navy lace night dress, her short dark hair perfectly styled even though she just woke up.
"You're breathtaking. Teach me your ways!" Caroline jokes.
"Says you gorgeous! I have the perfect outfit for you to wear today! I'm so excited for you to stay here for the next few days, it's going to be great!!!" Veronica squeals.

AN: sorry for the wait for this chapter and sorry it's so short! I was just so excited about posting again after so long. I promise to stay active on this account and this story but I also have another account @elllyking where I write my own more mature novels. The next chapter of this book should be out in about an hour or so!
