<Liana's POV>
Pinapakinggan namin ni Allen ung kakantahin namin. Nag-iisip na rin kami ng pwedeng choreography. Sina Anne at Liam, ayun sa kabilang side, nagko-conceptualize/nag-aaway.
"Liah, ad lib muna natin ung 'Something There'. Pwede?" he asked me. I nodded then tumayo siya. Ini-offer sa'kin ni Allen ung kamay niya but I stood up on my own. Kumuha kami ng initial positions, then I sang:
Liana: ♫"There's something sweet and almost kind.
But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined.
But now he's dear and so unsure
I wonder why I didn't see it there before." ♫
I thought magli-lip sing lang si Allen, never ko pa kasi siya narinig kumanta. But, I was wrong. Kasi...
Allen: ♫"She glanced this way, I thought I saw.
And when we touched she didn't shudder at my paw.
No it can't be, I'll just ignore.
But then she's never looked at me that way before."♫
Muntik ko pang malimutan na may part pa pala ako after niya, na-distract kasi ako masyado sa pagkanta niya.
Liana: ♫"New and a bit alarming
Who'd have ever thought that this could be?
True that he's no prince charming
But there's something in him that I simply didn't see."♫
By this part, Allen pulled me against him. Itsura namin?? His right arm around my waist while his left hand is intertwined with my right hand. Ung left hand ko naman naka-rest sa right shoulder niya and we're eye to eye. I felt my heart race.
"LIANA!!!"
Napabitiw kami ni Allen nung narinig namin ung boses ni MJ. Lumapit ako sa kanya. "May kailangan ka?" tanong ko. Umiling siya. "Di ka pa ba uuwi? Sabay na tayo." sabi niya. From my peripheral vision, I saw Anne stood up and head towards sa'min ni MJ.
Pero may mas mabilis pala sa kanya.
"Kailangan pa namin mag-practice ni Liah. Next time na lang kayo mag-sabay." sabi ni Allen while glaring at MJ, who's holding my hand. I felt the necessity for introductions, so "Ah, MJ, this is Allen, partner ko sa contest. Allen, he's MJ, classmate namin ni Anne." pag-introduce ko sa kanila.
"Nice to meet you, pare." MJ said and offered a hand to Allen. Nakipag-shake hands naman si Allen. "Same here." sabi niya. By that time, nakalapit na si Anne sa'min. "Anong meron dito?" tanong niya. "Nothing much." sagot ko. Allen let go of MJ then he turned to me. "Ready to resume practice?" tanong niya sa'kin. I nodded and bid MJ goodbye.
"Possessive much?!" sabi sa'kin ni Anne bago siya bumalik sa pwesto nila ni Liam. Buraot lang =_= . Sumunod na ako kay Allen. Medyo pinolish lang namin yung steps ng kinanta namin kanina.
Nung nag-five na, nagkasundo kami ni Allen na mag-practice every dismissal. Pero, a week before the English Fest, magpa-practice kami every lunchbreak at dismissal.
*Two weeks later...
<Anne's POV>
Ayos naman ung first two weeks ng practice. Sina Allen at Liana, pansin ko, mejo nababalik na ung dating closeness. Paano ko nasabi? Eto sample:
*Flashback [Monday, 2nd week of practice]
Nauna si Liana sa auditorium kasi may tinanong pa ako kay Ma'am Corrinne. Pagdating ko sa auditorium, eto ang eksenang nadatnan ko.
Naka-upo si Liana, nakasandal siya sa isa sa mga pillars nung stage, nakapikit. Si Allen naka-higa, his head on Liana's lap. Bukas ung speakers na gamit nila pag practice. Ang tugtog? Eto:
