Chapter EIGHTEEN: Painful Memories

  <Liana's POV>

Ang galing lang. Tuloy-tuloy ung song and dance nila kahit ngayon lang sila nagpractice. "Liah, paano pala ung part na may rap?" Allen whispered. I smirked. "May new member ang singing club. Eto ung pinaka-initiation niya." I informed him.

Then, someone continued the song from my back, startling Liam, Anne, Allen and the girl Liam brought with him. Nanlaki ung mata ni Anne upon seeing our newest member. Pina-pause ko muna kay Allen ung music. Then, I stood up and walked towards the newbie.

"Hi, Ji Hyung!" I greeted him. He smiled at me. "Liana, right?" he asked. I nodded. "C'mon. I need to introduce you to them." I told him and beckoned him by extending my hand. Ini-offer niya naman ung arm niya in a very gentleman way, which I took. Nilapitan namin ung iba.

"Guys, I'd like you to meet singing club's newest member, Nam Ji Hyung, from section 3. He just transferred from Korea. Ji Hyung, these are Allen, Liam and Anne." I introduced. "Nice to meet you." Ji Hyung said. Nakipag-shake hands naman sina Liam at Allen. When Ji Hyung turned to Anne, the latter gave her a smile then hugged him. Liam's expression darkened. "Neomu bogoshipo." Ji Hyung said. "Na do." Anne muttered.

As they let go, Liam's knuckles were already white. Naku, badtrip na to. "Ikaw muna dito. Kausapin ko lang si Liam." I told Allen. Hinila ko naman si Liam palayo sa kanila. Pagkalayo namin, biglang sinuntok ni Liam ung pader. "AARRGGH!" he bellowed. Tsk. Broke na naman to.

Ano kayang meron between Anne and Ji Hyung?  

  <Liam's POV>

That Nam Ji Hyung. Nakaka-inis. Anong meron sa kanila ni Anne? Sino ba siya? Tangna. Talagang sa harap ko pa nagsabihan ng "I missed you so much.". Nang-aasar ba talaga sila?

"Ano? Ready to speak?" narinig kong tanong ni Liana sa'kin. I faced her then gave her a slight nod. "Okay. I'm all ears." she said.

"Gumaganti ba sa'kin si Anne? Ganoon ba talaga kalaki ung galit niya sa'kin because of Song Yi? Does she think na niloloko ko siya? That I'm just fooling around with her? Tangna, eh di sana di na ko nag-effort ng ganoon! NGAYON LANG AKO NAG-SERYOSO SA BABAE TAPOS GANTO PA! Bwisit!" I ranted. Liana looked at me and asked "Sino ba si Song Yi?". I took a deep breath before launching to another explanation.

"Lee Song Yi's my childhood friend. Nagstay kasi kami sa Korea for three years, that's how I knew her. Bago bumalik ung family ko dito sa Pilipinas, I promised Song Yi na babalikan ko siya to legalize things between us. Then, I studied here, met Anne and the rest is history. Ngayon iniwan ni Tita Jinri sa'min si Song Yi kasi may kailangan siyang ayusin sa Busan." I explained. Liana nodded. "Okay. I understand it now. Ano? Okay ka na? Pwede na tayong bumalik ulit dun?" she asked. "I think so." I muttered.

"Don't worry. I'll help you out with Anne." Liana told me, lifting up my mood. Inakbayan ko siya then bumalik na kami kina Allen. "Thank you, Liana." I told her. She winked at me before muttering "You're welcome."

  <Anne's POV>

After 10 minutes, bumalik na sina Liana at Liam. Magka-akbay pa nga. "Ya, is Liam your namja chingoo?" Ji Hyung asked. "Aniyo. Wae?" I fired back. Ji Hyung just shrugged.

Pagkalapit nina Liana, she just whispered something to Allen then nilapitan si Song Yi. Then, the two of them went out of the auditorium. What the?! Anong meron?! "Okay. Time for another round of practice. Get ready, everyone!" Allen declared. Andito na din ung mga back-up. Ji Hyung patted my head before going to his initial position.

After three rounds of practice, bumalik na sina Liana. Take note, nagtatawanan pa sila nung Song Yi. Ewan pero I felt a surge of betrayal here. Ano, wala pa silang 30 minutes na nag-usap, friends agad sila? Eh di wow.

I sent the two of them my death glare, which, unfortunately, inignore lang nila. Liana-yah! Joo goo lae?! "Hey. You okay?" I heard Ji Hyung ask me. I didn't answer. Instead, I continued glaring daggers at Liana's and Song Yi's direction. Mukhang napansin un ni Ji Hyung kasi bigla siyang umalis sa tabi ko at nilapitan si Liana. As they were talking, Song Yi met my gaze and smirked.
