Alex could feel the tension between Kara and herself. Of course she heard the news about Lex, that's the reason why she despises him. The DEO has discovered several weapons but there was a whole room dedicated to weapons against kryptonians. So she understood why Kara would be pissed at her for stopping her from seeing Lena right away. But what she needed Kara to understand is that Supergirl comes first now. Especially when it involves an unregistered alien in her OWN school. So yeah, the next morning there was tension. They didn't talk as they got ready. They didn't even look at each other. Finally when they arrived at school Alex had to break the tension.

"Remember the plan?" Alex asked.

"Sit somewhere out of sight from the alien boy, don't get seen, ya-da-da, see what he does and wants from me, more boring stuff, and approach him after school." Kara replied not even glancing Alex's direction.

"Kara your can't ignore me forever. I understand you wanted to be with Lena- I really do, but you know that-"

"Supergirl and her responsibilities come first. I've got it now."

Kara began walking away until Alex grabbed onto her hand.

"Hey, I love you. I couldn't ask for a better sister." Alex said, concern all over her face.

"Yeah, whatever." Kara replied.

Kara left Alex standing alone in front of the school. A small gust of wind blew by sending chills down her spine. She crossed her arms and walked into school. She first found Maggie in her normal spot in the morning. Left leg crossed over the right as she leaned against a locker facing the school doorway waiting for Alex to arrive.

"Little Danvers looked kinda pissed. Everything okay?" Maggie asked following Alex into the cafeteria.

"Yup." Alex replied with an awful fake smile.

"Your lying."

"We're sitting somewhere new today." Alex said changing the subject.

"Why?"

"Uh... Kara just wanted a change of scenery I guess."

Alex and Maggie met up with Kara and Lena on the opposite side of the cafeteria from where they normally sit. The boy was still there, in the corner. They had 10 minutes before class so they pretended to listen to their girlfriends ramble something about Supergirl while they watched him closely.

1 minute until the bell rings to go to class. Alex still watched the boy intently while Kara was slacking off talking to Lena. Alex watched as he squirmed around in his seat. His eyes darted all across the cafeteria yet he remained in his seat. When the bell rang he was the first to stand and rush off to his class. Alex started walking to her first class along with Kara.

"Nothing." Alex says.

"What?" Kara asked.

"He did nothing today that he wouldn't do any other day."

"Oh, the boy. Yeah, nothing unusual."

Alex looked at Kara. She was fiercely typing away on her phone. Alex looked over and saw she was texting Lena.

"Are you even listening to me?" Alex asked.

"Listening, yup." Kara replied.

Alex rolled her eyes becoming frustrated. Kara was so kind and sweet but she could also be ignorant. All she cared about was Lena right now.

Alex carried on throughout the day scouting out the boy, trying to memorize his class schedule. Usually she could have Vasquez give her the schedule from the system but she's been out sick. And so she watched. She watched all day scanning the crowd for him and following him to his next class. Alex barely saw Kara all day. She saw Kara leave class and go to the 'bathroom'. Alex knew it was really because she was going to comfort Lena. She saw Kara eat a mountain of a lunch. She saw Kara once again, ask to go to the 'bathroom'. Kara was, for lack of better word, going rogue. She was acting so different than he normal self. She wasn't as compassionate to everyone like she normally was.

At the end of the day Alex had all of the boy classes written down on a piece of paper. Kara was nowhere in sight.

"Have you seen Kara?" Alex asked Maggie.

"Little Danvers? Yeah, she left the school a few minutes ago with Lena." Maggie replied.

Alex sighed but decided to not pursue her. She held Maggie's hand all the way outside to her car. Her and Maggie both got their license this year and made it a mission to park next to each other everyday.

"I've got to go to work." Alex said planting a small kiss of Maggie's cheek.

"Alright, have fun babe." Maggie replied.

Alex had come up with the lie during the 'summer camp'. The DEO had a second secret location not too far from HQ. It was a pizza parlor out near Alex's house. It looked like any other pizza parlor to a civilians eye. But secretly in the back room was an elevator that went down. That elevator led to a small and very fast train car. It was quick and easy transportation to the main DEO HQ.

Alex stepped off the small transport system and into the DEO HQ. It was busy. People were running around everywhere. Alex figured this meant an alien was lose.

"Hank, what's going on?" Alex asked.

"Rogue alien. Species still unknown." Hank replied.

Alex looked at the monitors that sat in the main wall. A map of Midvale and a moving red dot showed where the alien was.

"A team has already been assembled Agent Danvers. Get suited up and head out." Director Henshaw said.

Alex grabbed an extra bullet proof vest and readjusted her gun before heading out with the team. When they were all in the SUV headed out is when Alex decided to try and call Kara again. She had already tried several times but she never picked up. With an unknown alien it's really helpful to have Supergirl there with them. 3 minutes out Alex gave it one more try. The phone rang... and rang... and rang... and went dead. Alex shoved her phone into her pocket frustrated that Kara wasn't answering. She put those thoughts out of her mind as soon as the SUV stopped.

"Everybody know the plan?" Alex asked.

"Civilian safety is top priority. Try and capture but kill if necessary." everyone said.

"Lets move out!" Alex yelled opening the doors.

As soon as they piled out she stopped for a moment. Cars, poles, and giant slabs of concrete lay everywhere. They were in a small part of town but people still rushed frantically around. Alex motioned for her team to evacuate the remaining civilians. The alien they were up against was surprisingly scrawny looking. She looked like an average human. Brown hair, green eyes, black jeans, and a blue shirt. She defiantly wouldn't have suspected someone so normal looking to be able to throw a car her direction. Shit! Car! Alex dove out of the way last minute. She quickly popped back up aiming her gun at the alien.

"Freeze!" she yelled.

"Aren't you a cute little human?" The alien taunted.

"I'm flattered." Alex said seriously.

"However, I need to talk to whoever is in charge around here..."

"Fine, let's talk."

"Oh? Now who decided to put someone as young and small as you in charge? You know what-? It doesn't matter."

The alien leaped into the sky jumping several feet above Alex. She fired a few shots but none were successful in hitting. The alien landed in front of her, grabbing Alex by the neck. Alex fired one more shot at the alien hoping it would connect. It did. A newly formed bullet hole stood out on the aliens leg. She flinched but did not release her grip on Alex. Instead it tightened. Alex let her gun fall to the ground as she desperately gripped the aliens hand that was around her neck. God damn super strength. Alex felt her lungs ache for the fresh taste of air.

"Like I said, little, young, human..." the alien said.

Alex felt a gush on wind whip across her face. Before she knew it they were leaping into the air. That's the last thing she remembered before blacking out.
