To Kill A Mockingbird. You know the old book from 1960 based in Alabama written by Harper Lee. Yeah, that's what we're reading right now in English class. I'm not big on the books that are chosen to read in any English class, always so professional, educational, and always have a moral at the end of the story. Not my thing really, but this specific story had a meaning to me.

If you've ever read it, you'd know how the local neighborhood freak, Boo Radley had always been teased and made fun of for not wanting to be seen or always acted weird. Everyone made rumors about him and only spoke bad.

Sound familiar? Yeah. I guess Ethan could relate.

But in the end, are they all that bad? No. Just misunderstood.

My thoughts and connections were interrupted from the bell ringing. I packed my book bag with my To Kill A Mockingbird book and notebooks before Paige came out to me.

"Okay, spill! You and Ethan?" I heard Paige say surprised. I stayed looking down to my book bag, I guess I could have expected this. This was bound to happen all day.

"Yeah.." I said and half smiled putting my book bag over my shoulder.

"No way! How?" She said as we walked out the English room.

"It all just.. happened." I said smiling realizing I was reminiscing on everything that happened between Ethan and I. It still blew my mind.

"Oh my god.. Did you guys kiss?"

I knew Paige was staring at me with wide eyes and I just smirked looking down as if I was guilty of it, but we all know I wasn't.

"Nooo." I said stretching the 'o' to exaggerate.

"Oh come on, do you plan on it?" She said nudging me. I laughed going to my locker and started doing my combination.

"I don't know." I shrugged. "Maybe?"

Paige smiled as Linnea came over and we were going to go for lunch. I already knew hat Linnea was going to say. It was bound to happen. "You and Ethan?" "Omg."

And that's exactly what happened.

We all walked down to lunch and sat at our normal seats. But not for long, that was when that one perfect guy came up to me. The one I was aloud to now call my boyfriend.

"Hey, mind if I steal her today?" Ethan said as a smirk played on his face to my friends as Chastity came and sat down. Linnea spoke up.

"Oh yeah! Totally!" She couldn't stop smiling and I almost felt embarrassed of how big of a deal they made it.

"She's all yours." Paige added with a bright smile.

Ethan smiled with his mouth seamed shut and motioned for me to go with him.

I smiled a little and got up out of my seat to follow Ethan. This was it, I was meeting his vampire friends. What if they don't like me? What if they think I'm weird or bad for Ethan? What am I even thinking? They're vampires. They're going to thirst for my blood, guaranteed..

Ethan pulled out a chair for me to sit in. I smiled at him and sat down in it cautiously. I didn't realize how much of a gentleman Ethan could be.
