I saw it. Right there in front of me.Ethan and Grayson.
Together.
In my bedroom.?
At first I thought this must be a dream. What the actual hell is going on? Why are there two boys in my bedroom in the middle of the night.
Then I remember, Grayson was originally here at the beginning of the night. I thought he would've left after I fell asleep, but I was wrong. Boy was I wrong.
As for Ethan, I haven't the slightest idea what he was doing here.
I rubbed my eyes, blinked a few times, but they were still here.
"Hey Valerie." Grayson said sounding embarrassed.
"Hi?" I said confused.
"Hi Valerie.." I heard Ethan say in his low voice.
I must be dreaming. I honestly don't understand.
How does this even happen?! I looked to my clock and it read 5:17 a.m.
I looked back at Ethan and Grayson. They were standing in complete separate corners of my room. Like they were trying to stay away from one another.
I noticed the crazy similarities between the two as the stood, present in the dim light of my bedroom.
Its honestly crazy..
After thinking I was dreaming, I finally snapped back to reality.
"What is going on?!" I said kind of loud.
"Ask him! I've been here!" Grayson said louder getting defensive.
I looked at Ethan.
"Thats not true." He said in his deep raspy voice.
"Yes, it is! Valerie tell him!" Grayson said looking at me.
For some reason I didn't want to agree. But I wasn't going to lie.
"He's been here." I said quietly and looking away. Why didn't I look at them. I don't know?
"Exactly. The question is why are you, here." Grayson said while looking at Ethan emphasizing on the 'you.'
Ethan didn't say anything. He just looked at his feet for what felt like a really long time. I finally decided to speak up.
"Ethan..?" I said quietly, not moving from my spot on my bed.
"I gotta go." He said rushed and went right out my window.
I, being how I am, rushed off my bed to see if he was okay. He just jumped out my window for goodness sake?! But to my surprise he was perfectly fine. At least I'm guessing because he wasn't anywhere in sight by the time I got there.
I turned to Grayson looking at him confused. Scared. Surprised. I had no idea what was going on.
"What is happening? I thought you didn't talk to Ethan?" I said looking at him.
He looked at me and then ever so softly he said,
"Oh, I don't. You should know that. Besides, I don't think he was here for me. Rather you."
And just like that, Grayson walked out my house, using the door this time.
I stood by my window. What was that suppose to mean? Why didn't Grayson leave in the first place? But most importantly, why was Ethan in my bedroom.?
