Saturday Continued

Camila's POV

"Camila" I hear a series of knocks on my door. Oh god, I'm not ready yet. I don't have my makeup on and still have on my sleepwear from last night but can't just leave her inside, so I go to the door. She's grinning like a mad man- or woman, whatever, and gives me a hug before she walks in.

"I didn't know what time you'd get here and as you can see, still need a few minutes." She giggles at my frustration. "What's so funny, miss 'it may be before ten.' It's 9:30 are you crazy?"

"I did say before and that you could sleep in the car." She defends herself. "I'm laughing because you're wearing a spongebob shirt and look like a child."

"I'd be dressed if somebody didn't show up so early." I pretend to be offended by her comment even though I know it is true. In my defense, this shirt is really comfortable and I'm the only one who was supposed to see it.

"Fine, fine. I'll go get some coffee from the shop next door and you finish getting ready. You want the usual?" Pfft what kind of question is that?

"Yes please!" She leaves and I finish getting ready, dressing myself and putting on a light layer of makeup.

"Lauren, when are we getting there?" I whine. "Soon, be patient Camz."

"Where are we going? We've been in this car for forever."

"You will find out soon enough and it hasn't been that long."She replies.

"You're worse than Dinah on her way to get more hot cheetos from the store."

"Are we getting hot cheetos? I don't think we had to drive 20 minutes to get to the closest store." Her grip on the steering wheel shifts and she starts looking slightly nervous so I immediately know to lay off. "I was just joking, I'm sure whatever you have planned will be amazing."

After what feels like an eternity of being in the confinements of her jeep, I was so into the current song that I failed to notice that the car stopped. "We're here." I look around, "You drove all this way to sit in a huge parking lot?" Lauren just rolls her eyes and runs over to my door to open it for me. She's adorable. Grabbing my hand, she leads me to where she planned for us to go.

We walk across the baywalk looking out into the deep blue colored body of water and felt the light breeze coming off of it. The baywalk is around the perimeter of a large park and we take a turn on one of the several sidewalks. That's when I figure out where she was taking me. We were at the Art Museum that I've been wanting to go to since they opened years ago. Lauren saw me light up with excitement and noticed that I caught on. "I take it that you like the first part of our date?" All I can do is nod, I wasn't expecting this. This has already been the best date I've been on. All the other ones have been going to the beach or going for dinner, which is fine, but if this is just part one, Lauren definitely thought this through.

After spending some time looking at the brilliant exhibits on show, we leave to go to location number two. "This time it'll be about 20 minutes," she warns me beforehand this time.

Surely enough, we arrive in 20 minutes to a marina- with boats? This girl keeps confusing me as the day progresses. "I want to share something important with you, come with me."

We walk into a small building and are welcomed with a ding as the door opens. The worker inside greets us as he has his back to us, searching for something in the drawers in front of him. When we reach the counter, Lauren clears her throat and the man turns around.
