विवाह- संधीर की कहानी

When I woke up it was 1 in the afternoon. I merely slept for 4-5 hours. I never slept this much in day time but I was hell tired of last day and night events. And my new family didn't bothered to disturbed me. How sweet they are. I removed my covers and my gaze fall on the photo framed. I went straight to it and stared my husband photo.

It feel like he has some kind of  aura not an intimidating one but like the confident. Even he looks taller than me which I didn't noticed before. I lift my gaze and stopped on his eyes. HIS GREY EYES. They were hell so captivating. They were not cold instead they were sincere and pure emotion. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I tore my gaze and looked for my bags but they were no where. A panic attack arouse in my body and reluctantly start searching for them. After a while with hesitation I opened his closet and all my clothes were neatly placed in drawers. It means someone entered and arranged them but how I didn't get it? Were I m so deep in sleep?

I took clothes and went to bathroom. And this time I was in awe. I means the bathroom was so luxurious. It is so big that five people can use at a time. The walls were formatted tiles of grey and white color and the floor was made up of dull brown tiles. Shining granite counter top  with dark brown large framed mirror. At one side there is Jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower where two people can shower at a time. There were also cabinets where all necessary items were kept in organized way. I took warm shower and after that I wore yellow saree which light weighted. Maa taught me how to wear and handle saree in 4 days. And seriously sometimes I got frustrated that I ripped two or three saree  once in a day. But now I had no choice.

There is knock and a girl came with a plate of food. She is the same girl who was sitting with us last night during our dinner. She smiled to me but the aroma of food was so good that my stomach instantly growled in hunger. The girl chuckled and I was so embarrassed. On my first day here and this type of embarrassment. She put the plate on the bed and turned to me where I was bow down my head.   

Girl: Its fine Bhabhi we already saw u. U have a very great appetite.. So need of embarrassed. 

She smiled to me and I nods.

I: Thank u.

I softly said and she nodded and left. I turned my attention and  immediately jumped on food and start gobbling. I always feel hungry after sleep.

It was 4 in evening when again there is knock and auntie entered with a box and behind her two girls also entered. I immediately touched her feet and she blessed me. I stood straight and she caressed my face. I was so leaned in her touched it reminds me of Maa. A tear formed but her voice stopped me and I backed the tear in my eyes only.

Auntie: Beta... today u did this but from next time never do this. In my home daughter are not allowed to touched the feet. And u r my daughter remember now.

She said so sincere and genuine and I don't have any choice except nods with a smile. 

Auntie: here..

She forward me the box and I examined the box.

Auntie: ur reception dress and these girls will help u.

I: thank u... 

Auntie: U also thanked ur mother too ?

She arched her an eyebrow and I immediately shook my head in no.

Auntie: so don't thanked me too.. I m also like ur mother. 

I: Okay...

I gave her warm smile and she revert with me with a genuine smile which reached her eyes. I admired her. She have rectangular face with pointed button nose and dark black eyes. She is so graceful and elegant in her personality. Something clicked in my mind and then I realized he is replica of her. He is the same looks and personality except HIS GREY EYES. 

No.. don't go there.

I agreed and turned my attention to her. But she is narrowing her eyes. I gulped did I zoned out in front of her.

Auntie: did u listen what did I said ?

I bit my tongue inwardly and bow down my head in embarrassment. 

Great second time embarrassment in a day.

She chuckled.

Auntie: Get ready party will start at 6.

I assured her with blinked eyes and she left the room.

It took 1.5 hours to get ready for my reception. I was dressed in peach and pink lehenga. Words cannot defined the beauty of lehenga. Its look so stunning on me. Its perfectly fitted me and showing my all my body curves. I turned my attention to make up. It is light and enhancing my natural beauty. Little blush on my cheeks and eyes were in kohl even my lashes. The bright sparkling diamonds around my neck and ears. The stones shone multicolored light and twinkling when the lights falls on them.

Door opened and looked for the person. My eyes widen and quickly brimmed with tears. My Maa is standing on the door with my favorite smile. I immediately ran in her embraced. How much I missed her. I start crying bitterly and she too. I held her tight in my arms and flow all my emotions which I held them for a while. She start caressing my head but I was sobbing in her arms like a lost kid. 

She broke the hug and kissed my forehead but I again hugged her and let my tears flow. Someone cleared their throat and I looked at the person with my teary eyes. My best friend is standing on the door with my mother in law. Both were smiling and Naina approached me. I broke the hug and she pulled me in her tight bear hug. We shed some tears.

Naina: Ohh.. God I missed u like hell.

I didn't said any thing just let my actions speaks. Later we composed ourselves and wiped our tears. I chuckled humorously that again my and Maa's tears fall from my eyes. 

Auntie: Anju don't cry now... U loved ur cry daughter but I don't liked it. So wiped it now or I will drag u out of the room.

She said harshly but later she grinned and we laughed aloud. 

Naina: auntie.. I liked U.

Auntie: Thank u... So let go then?

I nodded but Maa stopped me.

Maa: Redo ur make up and then come with Naina.

Naina clapped her hands excitedly and they left. Beautician start redoing my make up and she start roaming around the room.

Naina: U know u both are lucky to have each other. He is handsome and u r a beautiful lady. And he have that kind of eyes which u got attracted.. So any romance happened yet ?

I heard her from distant with a teasing tone. It feel like she is standing near the photo. But I snickered inwardly what a fate I had today. From the morning I didn't got any glimpse of him. He just past me and left me with his mother and other ladies. 

Naina: Ohhh it means something happened... 

I groaned and slapped my forehead. She will not stop with her day dreaming. 

I: Naina stop ur day dreaming before I kill u today only coz I was planning in the morning.

She chuckled loudly.

Naina: U know u can't baby... Coz U love me and soon u will love my jeej coz of his eyes. And the way he was staring U yesterday at the dinner table, he was all flattered on u and the way he wiped ur lips... Gosh so romantic...

I pressed my lips in tight and stop myself not to blush profoundly. The memory flashed in my closed eyes. The way he wiped my upper lip so sensually. His touch was gentle and soft. I felt so giddy. 

Voice: ma'am done. 

I opened my eyes and again I m all ready to leave for my reception.
