   Y/N'S POV

When I glanced at Diana, Steve appeared to be trying to figure out what was going on.

Diana asked me,"Y/N, are you all right?"

I sighed before I answered,"No, but when has that ever stopped anything from happening to me?"

Everyone gave me odd looks, then Diana grabbed my arm as she said,"Y/N, talk to me. Tell me what's bothering you, so I can-"

I pushed Diana's hand away, yelling,"SO, YOU CAN WHAT?!! HELP ME! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH, DIANA!!"

Diana jumped back at my yelling, then she asked me,"Is this about Antiope not training you anymore?"

I don't know why I was acting like this towards Diana, but it was so hard for me to just hold everything in. I had been doing it for so long. I guess today was the day that I just snapped.

I rolled my eyes before I said,"Yes, Yes, it is. Mother didn't think that I was ready. Antiope didn't think that I was ready. Compared to you, I was rough. Lacked the strength to become something. Lacked everything a true Amazon possessed. You, on the other hand, you're Diana. You always do everything right. You never mess up. You never get beaten in battle. You're unstoppable. I'll never mean more to anyone than you. Not Mother. Not Antiope, who's not even here not to see this. Not even the generals. I'm just Y/N, daughter of Hippolyta. Sister of Diana of Themyscira."

I looked at Diana for a moment while she stood motionless and at a loss for words.
I grabbed my things before I began to begin my journey back to Themyscira. Luckily for me, I had a good memory, so I remembered exactly how to make it back on my own.

Then, I felt someone grab my arm, pulling me back.

Of course, it had to be Steve.

Steve's blue eyes were filled with concern while he said to me,"Look, Princess, I don't know what's going on with you, and I'm not trying to push you over the edge, but we need you to win this war."

I laughed before I said,"You don't need me, not when you have-"

Steve cut me off by yelling,"Y/N, WE NEED YOU, OKAY!! WE NEED YOU!! Please. You may not be your sister, but you're still Y/N. That means something to me, but does it mean anything to you?"

I took in Steve's words and then sighed before he rested his hands on my shoulders as he said,"Please. Please stay. Please. I will get on my knees."

Steve let go of my shoulders, getting down on his knees, which made me giggle and smile a little bit.

Steve looked up at me, but then he said,"Princess, if you stay, I promise to be here for you."

I nodded before I said,"Okay, Trevor, I'll stay. You have to keep your promise."

Steve got up and hugged me before I blushed in response. Steve pulled away from the hug, and I walked back beside him.

Sameer smiled as he said,"She's back. Would you have come back if I talked to you?"

I chuckled before I answered,"No, but I may have missed you a little a few seconds ago."

Sameer looked at Steve before Steve said,"It looks like someone is warming up to you, Sameer. Keep trying, buddy."

I smiled over at Steve, then Diana's eyes met my own. I looked away from her while everyone began to walk towards the war.
I frowned at seeing all the injured men and families trying to get out of here.

When I heard loud pounding coming from what seemed like a far distance from us, Steve said,"Princess, that would be the Germans. This is the war."

I examined all the armed men surrounding Steve, Sameer, Diana, the Chief, and me.
They all held several different expressions. Some looked lost, sad, distant, scared, or just shocked. Me, on the other hand, I felt like this could be my moment to finally prove my strength.

I heard Diana arguing with Steve about not being able to cross to the other side and that it wasn't possible. Immediately, that received my attention.

  I took a deep breath before I said,"Diana?"

Diana turned to me, then I motioned towards one of the ladders as I told her,"Let's go make the impossible possible."

Diana smiled and then nodded to me before I exchanged a brief look with Steve.
There was something in his eyes that I couldn't read, but the only thing that I was worried about now was proving myself.

I gave Steve his jacket back before I walked over to the other side of the men. I looked at Diana. Then, I began to slowly make my way up the stairs.
The moment that I had made it to that last stair, something felt different. I no longer felt that fear that had been holding me back all this time. I felt a push, almost, to get to the other side.

Diana walked a few inches from me before a bullet came flying towards her. The bullet literally crumbled thanks to her gauntlets.
I had some of my own, but they were a gift from Hera. Hera had also given me a sword and a shield; however, they weren't ordinary. They were supposed to be unbreakable and even brought to battle by Athena herself.

I guess the unbreakable part was about to be put to the test...
I picked up my speed as bullets began multiplying by the second towards me.

I blocked them all with my gauntlets while Diana yelled,"Y/N, SWITCH!!"

I threw Diana my shield before she threw me hers.
As a grenade was thrown towards me, I pushed it out of the way with Diana's shield.

As the bullets began to come at a faster rate, I pushed the shield in front of me and tightened my grip around the handle in the inside of Diana's shield.
I moved back a little bit, but I shifted my weight in order to find some stable ground to keep me from falling.

I looked over at Diana, and she motioned to the sniper.

I just looked right back at her, and Diana said,"Y/N, you can do it. Just go."

I nodded and closed my eyes before I opened them, running towards the other side.
I jumped down and took out the sniper while Diana handled the other men.

Steve, Charlie, Sameer, and Charlie joined Diana and me before I said,"You guys sleeping back there?"

Sameer said,"That was magnifique. Magnifique. No, we were making sure that you ladies were okay."

I smiled and then rolled my eyes playfully before Steve said,"Princess, I knew that you had it in you. Diana, well done. Well done. This is great, guys, but we still have-"

Diana and I both looked at each other before we made our way towards the village or town behind where the Germans were positioned.

We took cover while I looked around the corner, and Diana asked me,"You ready?"

  I nodded before I said,"Yeah. Diana, I-"

Before I could finish, Sameer said,"Ladies, there are still Germans trying to kill us. Talk later."

Diana and I moved from our current positions before running into the village.
