IMPORTANT: Hey, everyone. You know what part we're getting close to, but I think that I found a way to keep it from happening.

Let me just say this: Do you want Steve to die or not? It's up to you, but I need to know what you think ahead of time, so I know what to do with the book from now on.

   Y/N'S POV

I was awoken from my good slumber by Steve's arms tightening around me. I groaned a little bit, but mostly because my arm was still sore from where I was shot.
I looked over, and Steve had his eyes closed while he was mumbling something in his sleep.

I frowned before I shook him, which caused him to open his eyes quickly.

I asked him in a worried tone,"Steve, are you all right?"

Steve double blinked, and I rested my hand on his face, asking him,"What did you see in your dream?"

I wiped the sweat that was on Steve's forehead, and Steve said,"I... I saw you, and you were in... in trouble. There... There was a plane, and... and it was carrying some kind of weapons. I... I don't know what for, but... but there was an explosion, and... and I didn't get to see you again. Princess, I... I can't lose you."

I was deeply worried about Steve's dream, but something told me that it was more than just a dream. It was going to mean something.

I stroked his cheek as I said,"Steve, you'll never lose me. I promise. It was a dream. I'm still with you as we speak. You have nothing to be afraid of, Trevor. I... umm..."

I went to tell Steve something, but I realized how early it was. I liked him, yes, but I felt like the one that I really wanted to say he wouldn't want to hear it just yet. Maybe later.

Steve looked at me as he waited for me to speak, but then he looked over at his watch as he said,"We better start getting ready. We don't have a lot of time."

I nodded and got up before I got dressed. I grabbed my shield and sword, too, but then I looked over at Steve. He was trying to put on his watch, but his hands were shaking a little bit. So, I put down my sword and shield, then I walked over to Steve.

I grabbed his hands gently, but I let go of them before I put on Steve's watch for him.

After I was done, I cupped his face before I asked him,"Are you going to be okay?"

Steve nodded and kissed me before I kissed him back.

I stroked both of his cheeks slowly, and then he pulled away, asking me,"Are you going to be okay?"

I smiled, but then I pecked his lips before I answered,"As long as you're okay, then I'll be okay. Let's go."

Steve sent me a smile, and I grabbed my sword and shield. With that, I headed out of the room with Steve behind me.
Once we made it outside, Charlie, Diana, Sameer, and The Chief were already waiting on Steve and me.

Steve said,"You know I appreciate every one of you, but-"

Sameer finished for Steve by saying,"You don't have any money."

Steve shook his head, and I slipped my hand in his. Charlie and The Chief just smiled while Diana and Sameer looked a little upset.

I could understand Sameer's expression, but I didn't understand Diana's expression. Why was she upset?
Anyway, it wasn't long before we headed towards the gala.

I rode with Steve while I held on to his waist. He was still upset because of his dream, so I had hoped that having me comfort him would help him.
I leaned on Steve's back while he talked to the guys. Diana rode in front of everyone, but she looked back at me.

She sent me an unreadable look before she rode on.

  Steve said,"DIANA!!"

Everyone rode up beside Diana before Sameer, Diana, Steve, The Chief, and Charlie got off their horses.
Steve helped me down, then we made our way beside Diana.

Steve asked,"How do we get into that?"

Charlie explained how there were only a couple of men with weapons to get through, but Diana kept on repeating to Steve about how she was going with him.
Steve, on the other hand, didn't seem like he wanted Diana to go anywhere with him.

I would laugh, but that would be really rude of me. Since we were trying to track down this gas and find Ludendorff at the same time, I didn't need to push Diana away.
Apparently, Ludendorff was the key to all of this. If we made it to Ludendorff, then the gas wouldn't be released, and the war would end. Something told me that it would take more than just defeating Ludendorff to end this war, though.
