Chapter 15: Defeating Ludendorff

   DIANA'S POV

  I made my way towards Ludendorff quickly as I followed the smoke. I knew that Y/N was behind me, but I had no time to argue or to fight with her. I had to stop Ares, so I could finally stop the war. Then, she would understand; they would all understand that Ares was the key to all of this.
 
  I sighed when Y/N's horse stopped in front of my own.

  She said,"Diana..."

  I looked away from her as I tried to go around her, but she stopped me by saying,"Diana, I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry for everything that has happened between the two of us. Maybe it's me. Maybe it's you. I... I don't know. I just know that I made our mother a promise that I would be here to help and protect you, so I don't intend to break it. Let me help you. You're my family."

  I looked at Y/N and nodded before she said,"Good, but we do this together. As Amazonian sisters. I'll take care of these men coming up while you handle Ludendorff. We don't have much time."

  I sent Y/N a smile in thank you, then I rode in front of her. As my horse picked up speed, I carefully climbed on top of the saddle and jumped up towards the top of the tower.

     Y/N'S POV

  I watched as Diana headed up towards Ludendorff before I noticed all the men heading towards me.
  I smirked before I began to take them out. I took three of them out using my shield while I had to handle the others with my sword. I was knocked off my feet, but I regained my balance and punched the man across his face.

  I looked around to see if anymore was headed towards the tall tower, but I could make out what seemed to be men wearing masks moving something from inside a warehouse. I realized that something was weapons.
  However, a few yards from me, there sat a plane, which the weapons were being loaded onto.

  Wait...Weapons... Plane... Weapons... Why did that sound so familiar to me? STEVE'S DREAM!!

  I frowned as I thought,"How could I possibly save Steve? What if his dream was a sign? What if Steve is going to die, but I had a chance to stop it? What if I could contribute to stopping something from happening?"

  I looked up towards where Diana was just at, but I noticed that she wasn't there anymore.
  I flew up towards the tower before I saw Diana struggling against Ludendorff's grip. I flew in and pushed Ludendorff off Diana, and then he made his way towards me.

  He tried to hit me with one of the guns that was on the ground, but I grabbed it and broke it in half.
  I smirked and cut him across his arm, yet he groaned in pain before he pushed me into the wall. My head hit one of the glass windows, but I shook it off and kicked Ludendorff through the window.

  He struggled to get up before he began to make his way towards the roof. I went to go after him, but Diana stopped me.

  Diana said,"I got this, but thanks for having my back, Y/N."

  I said,"You're welcome."

  I stood back, and Diana held her sword as she said,"I am Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons. And your wrath upon this world is over."

  I watched as Diana made her way outside and flew up until she could see Ludendorff.
  Diana used her lasso to take Ludendorff and bring him off the roof before she slammed him back into it on his back.

  I climbed up onto the roof before Diana said,"In the name of all that is good in this world, I hereby complete the mission of the Amazons by ridding this world of you, forever!!"
