Are y'all loving it so far? Comment and let me know. If y'all wanted me to, I could make a preference book specifically for Wonder Woman, but y'all would have to actually want to read it. It's just a thought to put out there.

   Y/N'S POV

I woke up to Diana hitting me. I groaned before I pushed her hands away.

Then, I heard a deep chuckle followed by Steve saying,"Princess, come on. We're here."

I looked around, and the scene before me was so... ugly.

I probably made a face because Diana laughed, and Steve said,"I told you that it wasn't all that you thought it was. C'mon, let's go."

Steve helped Diana and me off the sailboat before Diana walked on my right, and Steve walked in front of us.
I noticed a few men staring at Diana and me, which made Steve look back at Diana and me.

Steve looked at our outfits immediately and then took someone else's coat before he made Diana wrap a jacket around her shoulders. Then, he put the coat around my shoulders.

I thanked Steve, but was he embarrassed of Diana and me?

A man said to me,"Excuse me, Miss?"

I stopped walking, and Diana pulled me along with her, so I sent the man an apologetic look. I did manage to smile at him, actually noticing me and talking to me.

However, I saw a couple walk past Diana, Steve, and me, but I noticed that they were holding hands.

Diana noticed it, too, before she asked Steve,"Why are they holding hands?"

Steve pushed Diana and me forward before he said,"Uhh... Probably because they're together."

Diana reached over to take Steve's hand.

Steve let go of Diana's hand before he said,"No... No... No... We are not together that way."

I giggled, but Diana rolled her eyes before she said dramatically,"To the war!!"

Steve motioned behind Diana and me, explaining,"Technically, the war is that way, but we gotta go that way first. "

Diana stopped walking for a second, and then I spotted a few men who were gazing at me. I just sent them a smile in appreciation. I didn't know whether they were impressed or whether they just thought that I was beautiful.

Diana pulled me beside her while Steve said,"Gentleman, eyes to yourself. Thank you so much."

I looked at Steve confused as I said,"They were just looking at me, Steve. Is that not a good thing?"

Steve sighed before he said,"I know, but-"

Diana pulled Steve back as she said,"Hey, hey, hey! No... No... No... No. I let you go; you take me to Ares. We made a deal, Steve Trevor. And a deal is a promise. And a promise is unbreakable."

I noticed how Steve was holding Diana, but I didn't know why it bothered me so much.

I just turned away and then brought my attention to the shore before I felt someone gently grab my waist.

Steve said,"Princess, c'mon. You're going to have a hard time keeping up if you continue to daydream."

I cleared my throat, and Steve removed his hands from my waist. I followed him and Diana until Diana noticed a baby and ran over to the little one.

I smiled before I joined Diana. I awwed at the baby, but Steve pulled Diana and me away from the little one. I waved to the baby while his or her mother just smiled.
Steve led Diana and me into a building, then we met his secretary. She was very nice, but I didn't see why someone would make a woman do their job for them. Then again, there were many things that weren't clear to me.

I asked Steve,"Umm, Steve, where do I go to change?"

Steve motioned towards one of the rooms towards the back of the building before I nodded in thank you to Steve.
Steve sent me a smile and went back to talking to his secretary, then I looked back towards the rooms. For some reason, I was afraid to just go over there.

I tapped Steve's shoulder before I shyly asked him,"St..Steve, can you... can you walk me over there? Please?"

Steve raised an eyebrow at me, at first, which made me think that he wouldn't want to walk me.

However, I let out a sigh of relief when Steve said,"Of course. Ladies first."

I smiled before I began to make my way to the rooms where I could change.

I went to walk in, but Steve pulled me back as he said,"Oh, no. You don't want to go in there."

My face was written with confusion, then Steve explained to me,"That one is for the men. This... this one over here is for the women. I know. That's just how things are here. Trust me, it's one of the few things that makes sense."

I nodded, and then I walked into the room I was to change in, which made me already afraid to be by myself. I just rushed into one of the open rooms before I closed the door and changed. Once I was done, I walked back out before I spotted Steve leaning on the door.

Diana was already done changing, and I loved what she had chosen to wear.

Diana saw me before she said,"Y/N, you look great!! What do you think, Steve Trevor?"

I looked over at Steve, and he looked at me for what seemed like forever until he cleared his throat and then sent me a small smile as he told me,"You... You umm... look nice."

I smiled back at Steve before I said,"T...Thank you, Steve."

Steve said,"You're welcome, Y/N. You're welcome. Now, may we please go take care of something first before we head off to the war?"

Diana and I nodded, but then Diana tried to walk out of the building with her sword. It didn't go so well, which made me laugh at her.

Diana rolled her eyes, and Steve said,"Yep, that's not going to work. Please put the sword down, Diana. Diana..."

Diana put her sword down slowly, but I knew her well enough to know that she wasn't actually going to do what Steve told her to do for long.
Diana tried to go through the doors that moved or whatever you called them before I followed Steve, Diana, and Etta, Steve's secretary, out of the building.

While Steve tried to talk Diana into giving up her sword to Etta, I felt someone touching my shoulder.

I turned before I saw a man, who looked like he was around my age. Well, he couldn't have been my age exactly.

  I sent him a small smile before I said,"H...Hello."

He smiled back at me, and then he extended his hand. I hesitated on putting my hand in his, but Steve never said anything.

I put my hand in the man's hand, and he said,"Would you care to maybe join me at my home later?"

I looked at the man confused before I asked Steve,"Steve, what does that mean?"

  Steve said,"What does what mean?"

I sighed at Steve not listening but said,"This man just asked me to go with him to his home. What does that mean?"

Steve pulled me away from the man instantly before he said,"Sir, you should really be ashamed of yourself. No, she doesn't want to go home with you. Princess, word of advice: Don't just talk to anyone, okay?"

I nodded, but I was still confused as to what the man said to me.

I looked over at Diana before I asked her,"Do you understand what he said?"

Diana shook her head before she answered,"No, I don't understand it, but Steve did. Maybe we both should take his advice. He says he's above average, so he must know what goes on."

I nodded then chuckled before Steve mentioned to us that we had to get wherever he needed to go before we headed towards the war.
