Chapter Eight

Two Hours Later.
    
"Alissa. Come on. Wake up." A voice said shaking me awake. I pried my eyes open and the face leaning over me was Daniel's.
    
"Daniel! What are you doing here?" I ask knowing that I should dump him here and now but I am to scared to do it.
    
"I wanted to invite you to dinner at my place. Are you coming?" He asked.
    
"Sure. Let me get dressed." I said grabbing my suitcase and going into the bathroom. I changed quickly and brushed the ugly snarls out of my hair. "Okay. I'm ready." I said as he grabbed my arm and pulled me close. We walked to his car which was a convertible. We rode in absolute silence.
    
We pulled to a stop in front of his house. He opened the car door and even held open the front door also. The characteristics of a true gentlemen. Obviously the truth is known only to me.
    
He closed and locked the front door behind him and then punched me in my gut. I screamed an ear piercing scream. "Shut up!" He screamed at me grabbing my hair. I yanked away from him and felt the roots of my hair being yanked from my head.
    
I tried to get to the front door but he had already moved in front of it. So I turned and ran to the first door I saw. Beyond the door was stairs and darkness.
    
I stumbled down the stairs tripping over my own feet. I heard a muffled sob coming from my right side. I slowly turned to see Bella tied to a chair. She was blindfolded, tied to a chair, gagged, and had on a bright green dress. That under any normal circumstances she would never wear.
    
I ran toward her noticing a huge butcher knife laying on the on the floor about a foot away from her. I picked it up trying to ignore the fact that it was covered in dried blood. I cut the ropes around her wrists.
    
Once her hands were free, she yanked the blindfold and gag away from her face. She stared in shock at me as I cut the ropes that bound her feet  to the chair legs. Then, Daniel appeared at the foot of the stairs.
    
Well. I see that you have found the stupid disrespectful girl who was keeping you from me. Now both of you have to die. What a waste." He said.
    
I started screaming. Bella looked at me like I was crazy. "It's not going to help Alissa. I'm still going to kill you both. And nobody is going to hear a thing." He said smiling creepily.
    
"Just scream Bella. What's it going to hurt?" I asked screaming again and this time Bella joined in. Honestly I think we had begun to hurt Daniel's ears because he slowed his approach just a little.
