The Redo Wedding

"Alissa. You are gorgeous. I didn't see you last time but you are completely and absolutely beautiful. I'm glad that you finally get your happy day. There is nothing to worry about." Bella said picking up her dress tail.

"I just wish that Mom was here. I'm also glad that I finally convinced you to be my maid of honor and my only bridesmaid." I said pulling her into a hug causing her to scream in my ear.

There was a knock at the door and I pulled out of the hug and answered the door. "Ethan? Dad!? Come in. Is something wrong?" I asked stepping back and allowing them to enter.

"Ali. I want to change a couple of things." Dad said hesitantly and looking away.

"What things?" I asked forcefully.

"Well. None of Ethan's family knows that he is home. I thought that it would be a nice surprise if he walked you down the aisle. Not me. Is that okay with you?" Dad asked looking away from me.

"Um let's see."  I said and then slapped Ethan across the face. "Now it is fine with me."

"I'm sorry, Alissa. I thought that you had already told Adam." Ethan said causing me to smile.

"The past is the past. Just leave it there. I had been planning on slapping you sooner or later. So that was just a little payback and for changing my wedding plans. But it doesn't matter. Bella! That's your cue! GO!!" I said pushing her to the door. She kissed my cheek and left. "Dad go take your seat." I said pulling him out of his chair.

"Let's go Alissa. It's your time to shine." Ethan said as I took a deep breath. He took my arm and led me to the door.

"Wait. Alissa. You forgot your bouquet" Dad said placing them into my other hand. We stepped into the ballroom. To be honest there were to many people. But the only person I wanted to see was Grant. I spotted him at the same time he spotted me.

He smiled at me but when he saw Ethan, he was shocked. As Ethan placed my hand in Grant's, Grant reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder as he stepped away.

Okay I'm going to be honest. I didn't really pay attention to the ceremony because all my attention was on Grant's beaming face.

I did manage to say 'I do' at the right time causing his smile to widen.

"By the power vested in me. I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." Reverend Richard said.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." Grant said leaning down and kissed me to show just how much.
