Finding My Dad

It's been a week. I've gotten closer with all of my 'uncles' and especially with my dad. I go back to school in a couple days, and my dad has been freaking out. he doesn't want me to go to school right now, he says it's because he doesn't think I can handle it. I don't know what there is to handle. I didn't change schools and I was only out of school for 3 weeks. I think he doesn't want me out of his sight. I haven't done anything, except shower, that he wasn't in the same room as me. I am getting better with eating and I've actually gotten just a smidge taller. I've been feeling kind of tired and groggy lately but I guess that's just because I'm getting bigger. my dad said I should get involved in a hobby and I want to dance or do cheerleading, I doubt I would be any good at any of those, but I guess it's worth a try.

Today he wants to take me to get my ears pierced. I want them pierced too, but my dad is making it his goal to let me have the experiences I missed out on. getting my ears pierced, shopping, Disney movies, that type of thing.

I am anxiously waiting on my bed when he pops his head in. "hey baby girl, ready?" his smile was so big it made me want to smile. "yeah" I said in monotone. he walked over and picked me up. "excited?" he asked. "And nervous." "don't be, it'll be fine" he reassured me. I let him carry me to the car and put me in. he got in his side and started driving. "is it going to hurt?" I whispered. "no, just a quick pinch. do you want to get your ears pierced love?" he questioned. "yes! I really want my ears pierced daddy, I do." I said. I do want my ears pierced all the girls I know have their ears pierced and they have holes above the first ones. I can't wait to get them pierced, I'm just a little nervous. "ok, just checking" he winked. The drive was short and we pulled up to a mall.

ZAYNS POV

I held her hand as we walked into Claire's. (in America it's a store that has accessories, they also do ear piercings very often) the lady at the purple table greeted us and we told her we want to get Gianna's ears pierced.

When she sat in the chair you could tell she was nervous. she gripped the side of the chair so hard her knuckles were white. She picked out earrings that had little diamonds in them. I signed the waver and the girl made marks where she was going to piece them. "ok sweetheart, do you want it done one at a time or both at the same time?" the lady asked her. "uh, both at the same time please" she said sweetly. the lady nodded and walked to get the gun.

"G relax, it's just a little pinch, you'll be fine, I promise." I said while holding one of her hands. she looked up at me, took a breath and smiled a reassuring smile. The lady returned with another lady who was slightly older and bigger. "this is Jess, she will pierce one ear and I'll pierce the other, ready?" she asked eagerly. G nodded her head and closed her eyes. "one" Jess said. "two" her voice carried out. Gianna physically tensed and they both shot the piercing gun at the same time without saying the number '3'. "was that so bad?" The girl asked. Gianna shook her head. the girl got a bag ready with all the cleaning things and a free pair of earrings. Gianna hopped down from the chair and we all walked to the checkout counter.

"You like them baby?" I asked while she looked in the mirror. "yes! oh my god yes! I love them! they look so cool! thank you daddy thank you!" she said excitedly while hugging me. I smiled and hugged her tighter since she was already on my hip. You could see the excitement on her face as she kept looking at her ears. I let her play with her hair, pulling it up, then down, seeing what it looked like with the diamonds in her ears. she was adorable. "now what do you want to do?" I asked. she thought for a moment. "I don't know daddy, what do you want to do?" she asked innocently. I didn't know where else I could take her to make her feel like a kid again.

GIANNAS POV

I couldn't stop looking at my ears. they looked so pretty and so sparkly. I was overjoyed. I must have said thank you a thousand times to my dad.
