Chapter 18 - The Truth

"Hyung!Are you having fever again?This is like the third time this week only.Are you not resting well?" Jungkook said as he lay the wet towel on Yoongi head.The older just laugh as his eyes closed feeling his whole body burn.
"Maybe I'm going to die if I keep having fever like this right?" He joke but only his own heart sadly know the truth.

"Holy crap,hyung are you alright?" Taehyung said panic as he saw Yoongi that was walking just now suddenly limp away and hold on to the dear wall for support before he arrived at him and support his body with his arms.
"I'm so damn weak lately..." Yoongi said as his head spin while his whole body producing cold sweats.
"Eat more hyung...." Taehyung said worry.

"Ok Yoongi,I'm not tolerating this anymore.No more skipping meals.You have to eat.Sit down.The dance practice room won't run away." Jin said stern as Yoongi was trying to sneak away and skip meals again.
"Hyung..I don't have appetite beside I need to rush there and fix the songs too!" Yoongi said annoyed that Jin was holding tight to his arms.
"See yourself Yoongi.You are losing too much weight." Jin said pointing to Yoongi thin body.
"What can I do hyung...It's will keep that way..till the end.." Yoongi said before pulling his hand away,but smile and ensure the older he was going to be fine,before walk out,successfully not eating anything.

"Sit down for a while.Look here,shit your ankle are swallowing Yoongi hyung!" Hoseok said panic as he saw how red Yoongi's ankle is.
"It's fine.This is normal reaction." Yoongi said as he caress the pain and sighed sadly.
"No.We need to stop practice for now.Hyung have to rest.Come on." Hoseok said as he let the older link his hand around his neck and help him stand.
"Don't worry Hoseok-ah..this is just normal reaction...." Yoongi said laughing.
"Having swollen ankle for a 10 minutes dance are not normal and why can hyung even laugh in this situaiton?" Yoongi just let the question hanging unaswered.

"Hyung?Are you taking the painkiller again?Is your headache still there?" Jimin ask as he saw Yoongi in the kitchen eating pills.
"Well....I'm sorry for finishing our painkiller stocks."Yoongi said laugh but Jimin sighed.
"You know clearly I'm not talking about that.I'm stating the fact you are getting sick a lots.Do you wanna went to the doctor?I can accompany you." Jimin said caring but Yoongi just stare at his cup then he break a sad smile before look back at Jimin.
"Don't worry Jiminie...I'll be fine soon after the pills kick in." Yoongi said plainly again.Deep down he know the pain will just fade for a while then come back again.

"Yoongi?Oh my God..are you alright?" Namjoon ask as he saw Yoongi was holding himself against the wall,with uneven breathing.He gently caress his back.
"I..I'm fine...*cough* Don't..worry.. *cough*.." Namjoon can't help but sighed at Yoongi stubborness.

Everyone saw the sign.It was all clear enough.But,as usual,people always realize it when it was too late. - Jin

Everyone was running toward the room Jin received before from Jungkook when he call them and said he will not go home and stay with Yoongi in the hospital for a while.Reaching in front of the door,they pulled it open to reveal Hoseok and Jungkook sitting on the couch discussing something but then look over to them shocked.

"Where?Where is Yoongi?" Nayeon ask.

"Nayeon noona?God!Long time haven't seen you!" Jungkook said as he really know Nayeon since Yoongi was his room mate and he talk about her a lots.They also do Facetime together.

"Nice to see you in real life.But now,where is Yoongi?Is he alright?" She ask worry.

"Yoongi hyung suddenly fainted just now..and bleed too...So the doctor drag him up for check up.We are still waiting." Hoseok said with a sad smile.

"Yoonie doesn't need check up!He need chemotherapy!" Nayeon said stating the facts and now left Jungkook and Hoseok in lost.

"What..what do you mean?" Jungkook ask shaking as his mind can already suggest somethings he hope is not true.

"Yoongi hyung had been suffering with Leukemia and never told any of us about it maknae.He hide it away.Without treatment,without pills,without support." Jin said as tears was about to fall again.

"Wh..what?!That...that is impossible!Why?Why didn't you told me anything during our Facetime!?" Jungkook ask as he cry.

"I thought you know!I thought he told everyone!He had been saying like 'Yeah I already told the members' , 'They are taking care of me' , 'I am getting better,so don't worry ok?'.He told me all that.And I had once asking you did he take all his pills properly and you said yes!" Nayeon said unbelievable that Min Yoongi keep everything to himself and lied to her.

"I thought you are talking about painkillers!He had been taking lots of painkillers lately.That what I thought!" Jungkook said grabbing his hair frustrated.

"Shit...Min Yoongi...what had you done..this is...a really big mistake.." Hoseok said as the room goes silent.

"I can't believe it he lied to me all this time...I can't....He always give me motivation,keep smiling...he keep ensure me to not worry about him.But then,he just get mad,he just cut off everything with me.Our fight on the street a day before I fly back to U.S. was the last time I ever seen him.I was just...asking him...to leave BTS for a while...for the sake of his health..I'm just..worry...but he got so mad....and I never seen him nor heard anything from him anymore.." Nayeon said as she cry harder.Jungkook walk closer and sooth her shoulder,giving her support.

"I was there..when hyung got back from meeting you...He was crying his eyes out to me..I don't really get why..but he keep saying that you need to focus on your final exam,and he just don't want to bother you.I was the one,who with him every time he cry because he have to rejected your calls and read your messages.Soon enough,we had never heard anything from you..So,Yoongi hyung thought,you had give up,and hate him." Jungkook explain make Nayeon cry harder.

"I stop texting,because I thought Yoongi no longer needed me.I thought he have everyone here,make he forget about me.I was so angry,that I hate him.I hate him for pushing me away.This till one night,I had enough,maybe I hate him for ignoring me,but I can't stop loving him nor forget him,because he was the most nice bestfriend I could ever had since I was still a child.He was the one who protect me when I was bullied.He never stop,no matter hoe much pain he got from the bullies.And now I decide,will not back out,no matter how much pain he put me through.He need someone." Nayeon said as everyone hug her.Now everyone understand,the real side of Min Yoongi,he just don't want anyone to worry about him.He is fine getting hurt,as long as the people he loves,feel their happiness.
