Ezra's POV
Gerrara?! Here?! No. It can't be. Why?!
"You'd better get up here, or you'll go down with the transmitter."
Saw brought me back out of my shock. He was rolling explosives down from his ship. He was going to destroy the transmitter!
Sabine, Sarah, and I ran to the edge and jumped. Sabine and I turned on our jetpacks. Sarah got ready to jump.
Sabine and I landed on the ship. I turned to see Sarah in mid-air, jumping for us.
Suddenly, she made a force shield platform underneath her. She jumped off of that and made another platform. She continued that one after another until she gracefully landed on the ship. It actually seemed faster than a jetpack! Huh.
Saw glared down at her briefly, making me glare at him. Saw finally closed the ship door and we flew off.
Sarah's POV
I can't believe Saw is here.
Why?!
What brought him here? Why did he have to come?
He just shut Hera down when she told him to bring us back.
Rude......
He came down to us. "The words you are looking for are 'thank you.'"
I rolled my eyes under the mask. Right, like keeping us from getting back to base was something worthy of a thank you.
"Why did you come?" Sabine asked.
"Someone had to destroy that thing." he replied.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
He ignored that question. He continued. "Your leader is too weak to destroy it. So, I took initiative. Did what you all refused to do."
"Because we could have used it to stay ahead of the Empire." Ezra commented.
Saw shrugged. "I actually did something that mattered."
My sight started growing black. A voice came into my head. "End him...... End him....... Just let me out...... let me KILL!!
I fell onto the floor, breathing quickly out of fear.
Ezra came over and helped me up. "You okay?"
I couldn't tell him that I almost turned. He might tell Kanan and the others. That would just put me back to the same problem with being in a coma: everyone being around me all the time.
So, I just nodded. "Just tripped."
Ezra just nodded and walk away. Out of the corner of my Force sight, I saw Gerrara glaring at me. I sensed what he was feeling.
He knew I turned.
Did I say something out loud? Or did he just know?
Maybe he's just making assumptions on things he doesn't even know about...
Even if he is right.
A voice screamed at the top of its lungs inside of me. Yet, it was silent to everyone else.
And every light in me went out.
Hera's POV
That bastard. He just took them! He blew up the transmitter and just left! At this point, I wanted to use every curse word in the book.
But, I don't have time for that. We have got to get back to base and make sure everything is on schedule. We still have a rebellion to run.
But, they are part of what we are supposed to lead. Who we look after. We can't just leave them.
Kanan put his hand on my shoulder to comfort me. "I want them back, too. They can handle themselves, though. They'll be--"
He fell to the ground. I was almost too shocked to help him.
Almost.
I reached down and helped him up. "Are you alright?!" I asked.
He was breathing quickly and lightly. "Sarah... or Ezra... they're... something's wrong..."
"What is it, Love?" I asked.
He slowed his breathing before answering me.
"One of them turned to the Dark Side."
Sorry, that took forever for something not very long. Halloween kicked school into overload: homework, tests, study sessions.
At least there was 30 minutes of time I had to write... whatever this became.
I will try to update quicker. But, no promises.
