When Alex and Delta arrived back to the others Annabeth was scolding Percy, who was looking down ashamed. The others were sat around the fire talking amongst them selves. When they heard the russel of leaves they looking in their direction. "Delta!" Percy exclaimed and ran over to her giving her a hug, making Alex drop her hand which Delta had forgotten she was holding. "I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me."
Delta pulled away from the hug. "I think I do." The others walked over to them.
"What do you mean?" Percy asked.
Leo opened his mouth but before he could say anything Piper spoke up, "Leo I swear to the gods of you start singing 'What Do You Mean' by Justin Bieber I will strangle you." Leo immediately closed his mouth and pouted.
Delta walked past all of them to the fire they had set up. She stared into the fire ominously, causing the others to look at each other worriedly. Delta thought about why Percy acted the way he did on the walk back, seeing as it was unlike him to get so upset over such a menial thing. Delta turned around and looking Percy in the eyes. "You were being controlled by Jack."
"What?" Percy asked confused as the other subconsciously stepped away from him and gripped their weapons.
"After Annabeth told you that I still heard him, did you hear a voice in the back of your head telling you that you should be mad?" Delta asked him.
"I-I don't know. M-maybe," Percy stuttered over his words nervously.
"That was Jack."
"You mean Jack can control anyone of us?" Jason asked.
"Theoretically speaking, yes," Delta answered. They all immediately drew their weapons, except for Delta and Alex.
"Whoah!" Alex exclaimed as he put his hands up and stepped back. "Clam down you guys."
"It could be anyone of us," Leo stated as he looked around frantically at each person. Delta looked at all of them and noticed they all had one thing in common: a crazed look in their eyes. Jack was controlling all of them just a little bit, and letting their fear do the rest.
"Guys stop!" Delta pleaded not wanting anyone to get hurt. "Don't you see! This is exactly what Jack wants, for us to turn on each other."
"For all we know you're the one being controlled," Piper said as she pointed her dagger at Delta.
"Stay away from my sister," Percy defended her as he pointed his sword at Piper. "It could be you that's being controlled."
Then they all broke out arguing about who it could be, throwing accusations around like a football. "Stop!" Delta pleaded. They didn't listen, and then they started to attack each other. "PLEASE STOP!"
Alex ran over to Delta, being the only other one not controlled. "How do we stop them?" He asked her frantically, also not wanting his new found friends to hurt each other.
Delta watched what was happening as tears glistened her eyes. "I have an idea." She looked up at Alex. "I'm sorry."
Alex was confused by her random apology. "Wait, why are you sorry?" Delta ignored him and ran over to a dagger on the ground. She picked it up and cut herself deep down her forearm as she screamed in agony. "DELTA!" The others stopped fighting when they heard her screams and Alex cry out for her. They immediately returned from normal and broke free from Jacks grips as they saw Delta passed out on the ground, bleeding heavily from her forearm.
DAMN TWO CHAPTERS IN ONE NIGHT I AM ON FIRE! Maybe I'll do another one I don't know, I probably will to be honest. HOPE YOU ENJOYED. PEACE!
