Delta was running through the woods jumping over roots and ducking under low hanging branches. She wasn't sure what she was looking for. Jack? The stone? Both? All she knew was she had to hurry. She stopped in a clearing to catch her breath as she bent over with her hands on her knees. She stood up straight and put her hands on her hips. She was not used to running that's for sure. Though she really should be. She moved one foot forward and heard a click underneath her foot.

That's when Jack emerged from the woods smirking at her. "You're too easy."

Delta looked down at her foot. The leaves were cleared off now due to the pressure and she saw it. A land mine. Delta looked back up at Jack. "How'd you know I was in the island?"

"When someone steps foot on the island they're not the only ones who feel a tug at their leg. Everyone who's already on the island does too," Jack explained. "Knowing you were on the island I set this little trap for you to stop you from finding the stone. Thankfully you're as stupid as your brother."

"Hey!" Delta got defensive. "No one is as stupid as Percy."

Jack thought about for a second. "Yeah, you're right. But you're still pretty stupid."

Delta pointed at Jack. "I can take that."

"The point is," Jack redirected the topic. "You move? You die. In the mean time I'll be getting the stone, have fun." Jack turned around and walked back into the woods.

Delta cursed to herself in Greek. She couldn't believe she fell for this. She was trapped like a baby in a car seat while Jack was finding the stone for ultimate power. Why she came up with that simile, she had no idea. The point was she was screwed. That's when she felt a tug on her leg. The others had arrived. She wasn't sure if she was happy about that or not. On one hand they could help her, on the other they could all die. Let's hope for the former. Now Delta hoped they would actually find her. Unfortunately for her, they ran in the other direction.

I know it's kinda short but trust me when I say it gets better. Hope you enjoyed and PEACE!
