Sorry for the late update. I kinda lost motivation for a while and then school started sooooooo. Anyway, here's the update hope you enjoy.

All the demigods mounted their pegasi and took off to begin the quest. They were flying through the air peacefully, so they knew something had to be wrong. Just then they heard screeching. They looked behind them to see a herd of griffins flying towards them.

"Really?!" Leo exclaimed. "Already?!" A griffin flew at him trying to scratch him but he ducked just in time. "Ha! You missed!" Then another griffin came at him and successfully scratched him. "Ow!" Delta couldn't help but chuckle.

They all halted their pegasi to stay suspended in the air as they turned to face the griffins. "Come on Marie!" Delta exclaimed. "We got this!" Marie flew towards the herd. Delta jumped off Marie and sliced a griffin right through the middle. She only fell through the air for a few seconds before landing back on Marie.

"How did you know that was going to work, boss?" Marie asked.

Delta chuckled as she replied, "I didn't." They headed back to the herd to help the others. The demigods were winning, when a griffin came out of nowhere and knocked Delta off Marie. She was falling through the air speeding towards the ground. She pushed her hand out in attempt to use her powers, but then remembered she had none. "MARIE!" Delta shouted for her.

A couple feet from hitting the ground Delta felt talons dig deep into her shoulders. She yelled in pain. She looked up hoping it was Marie who had shaped shift, but it wasn't. It was a griffin. The griffin was slowly bringing her higher. She looked at the others but they were all busy, even Marie. Delta gripped her sword tighter and stabbed upwards blindly in hope of stabbing it. She heard the griffin screech as it soon became dust. Though that meant she was falling through the air again. She was close to hitting the ground when someone grabbed her wrist.

She looked at who it was and was pleased to see it was Alex. "How ya doing?" Alex asked casually.

"Oh ya know," Delta shrugged with one shoulder, "just hanging around." Alex chuckled then pulled her up so she was sitting behind him on his Pegasus. "Thanks for catching me."

"I'll always catch you when you fall," Alex replied with a smile. Delta was thankful he couldn't see her since she knew she was most likely blushing. When they reached the others in the air all the griffins had finally been defeated. "Guys!" Alex shouted to them. "Delta's hurt! We gotta rest!"

Delta rolled her eyes thinking she was fine. "I'm fine guys! Let's just keep going!"

"Delta those wounds are really deep!" Annabeth pointed out. "We have to treat them!"

"Trust me, I'm perfectly..." Delta trailed off as her vision became blurry and doubled. "Fine?" It came out more as a question as she passed out from the blood lost.
