Annabeth was the first to wake up. She rubbed her eyes as she stretched. She looked around the room and noticed Delta was gone. Her eyes went wide. She scrambled out of the bed and went to her pouch on the table. She emptied it. Only six drachma left. Annabeth slammed her hand on the table. "Dang it!" The ruckus woke the others up.
Percy looked at her confused. "Annabeth what's wrong?"
Annabeth turned around to face Percy. "Delta's gone."
"What?!" They all yelled at once. They all started to get ready.
"Don't tell me she went to the island," Alex said as he put in his shoes.
"She went to the island," Annabeth replied honestly. "She snuck out while we were asleep."
"We're going after her," Percy stared.
"How? We have no drachma left," Jason pointed out.
"Technically we have six," Annabeth chimed in.
"We'll find a way now let's go," Percy demanded as he was already out the door. Everyone followed and they quickly arrived at the docks. They spotted Roger carrying some crates to his boat. "Where is she?!" Percy got straight to the point.
"Ya mean Delta?" Roger asked as he set the crates down. "I took her to the island like she wanted me too."
"Why on earth would you do that?" Piper asked bewildered. "She is thirteen and on her own out there. You should be ashamed of yourself."
"Hey, I only did what she wanted," Roger defended himself. "Look I'll take you guys too if you got the drachma. I'll drop the price to thirty."
"No you're taking us for free," Annabeth stated.
"And why would I do that?" Roger asked.
"Get is to the island......NOW," Percy growled. "Delta is my sister!"
"And I love her!" Alex shouted.
"Ah, brother and boyfriend," Roger nodded to himself like it now made sense why they were so persistent.
"Technically we're uh we're not t-together," Alex stuttered out.
"Okay I'll take ya," Roger caved. "But only because I've lost a sister and loved one too. I wouldn't put that pain on anybody. Climb aboard." Everyone climbed aboard and they quickly set sail.
It didn't take long before they could see the island and the storm started. It wasn't as bad as it was with Delta because Percy used his powers to help control it. When they reached the island they quickly jumped off the boat. They felt the same tug on their legs like Delta did before. They turned to Roger. "Thank you," Percy said.
Roger nodded. "Stay alive." Roger turned his boat around and left.
They all turned toward the woods. Time to find Delta, get the stone, and stop Jack. They all ran into the woods.
Short chapter, but don't worry the action starts soon. Hope you enjoyed and PEACE!
