After crying their eyes and finally calming down, they remembered they still had a quest to complete. Everyone stood up ready to go get the stone and face Jack, everyone except for Percy. Percy stayed kneeled at Deltas side.

"Percy, come on we have to get the stone," Annabeth reminded him as she wiped her eyes one more time.

"What's the point?" Percy asked with a monotone voice. "We were getting the stone for Delta, and she's dead now. So what's the point?"

"The point is to make sure Jack doesn't get it," Alex explained. "If he gets it we're all screwed. Besides, he's the one who killed Delta. So let's kill him."

That got to Percy. Percy stood up and clenched his hands. "Jack's gonna pay for what he did. Let's go." Percy walked in front of the others now in a rush to get back.

When they finally reached the tombs again the sun was starting to rise. "We have to hurry!" Jason exclaimed. They all ran down the tomb as quickly as possible.

When they reached the room they saw light bouncing off the pool into the three gods hands, it was making the room glow. The stone would appear any second now. Jack stood there watching and waiting for the stone. He turned back and saw them. "You're too late," Jack said with a smile.

"No," Alex unsheathed his sword, "we're not." He charged at Jack. He swung but Jack sidestepped and he missed. Alex kept swinging but Jack kept dodging.

"Really?" Jack asked after Alex stopped. "Is that all you can do?" Alex didn't say anything as he caught his breath. "Pathetic." Jack used his magic and made his sword appear. "Time for you to die brother." Alex charged. They were fighting as the others watched. Alex would be one offense for a bit then would have to switch to defense when Jack got more aggressive. Jack got a cut on Alex's leg. Alex grunted in pain and fell to his knee. That's when Jack used his advantage to cut at his arm too.

Jack was just about to finish him off when the stone appeared. Jack started towards it. The others were about to run to it, but Jack used his magic to make them stop in their tracks. He grabbed the floating stone. "Yes," he chuckled. "Now no one will ever stop me."

"Except for me," Alex said as he charged at him with his sword. Caught off guard Jack turned around and was impaled by the sword.

"If I die, you're coming with." Jack brought his sword up and stabbed Alex through the stomach.

Alex gasped in pain. "I'm sorry brother," he whispered. He didn't want to have to kill him, but saw no other way.

Jack smiled as blood dripped from his mouth making him look psychotic. "I'm not." Jack died with a smile on his face. Once Jack died his magic was undone. Alex fell to the floor as the others ran to him.

"You're gonna be okay, you're gonna be okay," Annabeth repeated over and over. Though she was mostly telling herself that. "Percy can heal you." She started to get out water when Alex grabbed her wrist stopping her.

"It won't work," Alex explained. "It was a magic sword that was sold to him. Nothing can heal its wounds except time. And I'm out of it. I guess I'll see Jack in the fields of punishment."

"No," Piper shook her head. "You're going to Elysium."

"Killers don't go to Elysium," Alex argued. "I killed him."

"You didn't have a choice," Jason spoke up. "You did something bad with the right reasons they'll understand."

"Delta would be proud of you," Percy told him which made him smile. "She loves you too ya know."

"Thank you," Alex breathed his last breath. Annabeth turned away and sobbed into Percy. Two of her friends died in one day. She couldn't handle it. Leo kneeled down next to Alex and closed his eyes.

That's when they heard foot steps coming down the tomb. They readied their weapons in case it was manother lunatic trying to get the stone. They came closer and closer until finally they entered.
