After much primping, waxing, and "beautifying", as Heather and Katie like to say, The Make-Over was done. I was really nervous to see how I looked.

"Look in the mirror." Heather prompted, pushing me out of my chair.

I gasped. I saw... a slightly better looking creature than the one I was hours ago. You could even say I was Okay-looking! OMG! My hair was straightened and washed from its greasiness, trimmed, and Katie even added a few purple highlights. Heather put very light lip gloss, blush and mascara on me, and covered up the worst of my pimples, My nails were manicured to the best of Heather's abilities, (Which is way better than I could do) and my legs were still hairy, but wayyyy less! The only problem was the outfit. It was cute, but my mom would never let me wear shorts above my knee!

Heather and Katie looked nervous to see what I thought. "We tried our best on your leg hair, but one waxing kit wasn't enough! You just have so much leg hair." Heather said.

"Yeah! And you just went up from a 3.8 to a solid 4, but at least you went up right?" Katie said.

Despite their comments about my leg hair and looks, I was still in awe. "It's great! How do you guys do this every morning?"

"We don't" Katie replied.

"Yeah," Heather echoed, "We were packaged perfectly. We don't need makeup or any of that. As for clothes, I just throw on whatever I see."

"But what about the shorts?"

"What about them?"

"My mom won't let me wear these!"

"Dude, they're not even past your fingertips! It's just barely past your knee!" Katie said.

"That's like hell to my mom!" I gasp. My mom would kill me if she heard me say that.

Heather and Katie gasp too, because I've never even said so much as crap. Finally Heather says "It's time to stop listening to your mom and do your own thing!"

She's right. My mom doesn't like anything I do anyways.

"Can I wear these home?" I ask

"Yeah keep them! I was about to burn them, but I put them to good use with you!" Heather says brightly.

Haha. My mom's gonna stop treating me like a baby once and for all. I'll show Delaney. I'll show everyone.

"Bertha?" Katie says. I realized I was just staring into my reflection and smiling creepily.

"Uh, Yeah sorry. What?" I say.

"You can go now. We'll have a meeting with you every week about how it's going with Jacob, and tips of how to act and stuff."

"W-what?" I stutter.

"It was in the contract. Didn't you read it? Well, too late, you signed it, LOL."

I sigh. "Um. Yeah. sounds fun."
