The next day, while walking through the hall, I notice a familiar blonde head through the crowd of high schoolers.
I quickly catch up. "Ashley?"
She turns around. "Oh, uh hey Bertha. I heard you and Jacob are good now... that's cool." She says awkwardly.
"Yeah." I reply. "Hey, I gotta get to science, but I just wanted to apologize for the way I acted towards you when we were over at Jacob's house."
She brightened immediately. "It's totally cool. I forgive you."
I smiled. "Thanks. See you around?"
She grinned. "Definitely."
