This one shot might be really long. I'm making it like a story mainly. I'm also making it like a fault in our stars parody but WAY different.

Keith's POV

  Cancer. Ugly word right. That disgusting word people wish would disappear but when it does it comes right back. Cancer is like that person that never leaves you alone or beats you up everyday and the problem is it's seems to be that I have that person in and out of me.

I was diagnosed with cancer at nine. It was a really hard time for my family already. Paying bills, paying for my older brothers college, and getting sued from this random Walmart worker because my dad beat him up when he didn't give us our change back. My cancer was just the cherry top on that money dish. Luckily by eleven it was cured all way good until thirteen ,that totally (not) LUCKY number, I was diagnosed with it again and I've kept it ever since.

"Keith you need to get ready we're taking you to a um- special school." Keith's mom said going over to Keith's bed and pulling the blanket off him.

"Is it another one of those schools where sick people go?" Keith asked obviously knowing what she would answer. She always answered with either Yes how did you know, Of course what gave it away. or something that sounds like she's oblivious to a rock.

"Why yes Keithy who told you?"

'Bingo! Jackpot! And the award for completely oblivious mom goes to.......KAREN KOGANE! 'Keith thought.

"Lucky guess?" Keith's said more of a question other than a statement.

"Oh well don't bother asking if you have to go because you are going and there are lots of kids you might get along with....you went to school with a few of them." Keith's mom said picking out Keith's clothes and sitting them on the end of his red sheeted bed.

Keith groaned inwardly. His mom always told him the same thing every time and the friends she always says is there is always a guy that listens to same music but looks like the band Kiss did their make up.
