((Sorry for the long wait. I promise to post more but here's a little hint for a one shot in making))

Lance stared down at his hands as tear drops fell and splashed against his wrist and palms slowly.
His eyes were dull as the doctor stood beside him placing his hand on lances back in a comforting action.
Lance felt himself fall deeper into his trench.
Sadness flooded him as his two kids stood in front of him confused and frowning.

"Papi what's wrong?" His daughter asked her eyes bright unlike his and lance couldn't get himself to tell her not wanting the brightness of her eyes to fade, but sadly what he had to say had to be said.

"Daddys gone." Lance said and his son teared up hugging lances arm as his daughter frowned looking down.

Shiro had walked around the corner his eyes red and puffy as he handed lance a letter and sighed

"Keith was holding this." Shiro said sitting next to lance crying again.

Lance opened the letter slowly like it was fragile and could break any second.

'Dear Lance McClain,

I love you. I absolutely love you and our kids.
You've always made me feel welcome and at home.
I don't know what I could possibly do without you in my life.
I know I'm sick and can't do anything to help you with the kids but I promise once we're out of here I'll help you as much as I can. I promise you that.

I love you a million to the stars and back

                                        Love yours truly,
                                                      Keith McClain'

It read and lance teared up as he read it.

Keith was gone and there was no way that promise could be kept.
He wasn't there to help him and surely wasn't there to love him.

Lance felt the pressure of water against his lungs as he sunk deeper and deeper.
He knew what this would do to him and how his kids would feel but honestly the pain had gotten to unbearable.
The deeper he sunk the more the pain intensified.
He finally opened his mouth allowing the salty water to fill his lungs and take his body.

'I'm coming Keith' was his last thought before his vision went black and he hit the sandy floor as the black ocean floor covered him.
