The sensation of not being alone made Rhena opened her eyes. She felt a breeze in her cheek making her jump in surprise. Her hands meet with the cold soil when she moved and she instantly pull them away.

She was disoriented and her body felt tired. Her eyes wondered around, not remembering what happened or where she was. The place where she stood was dark, cold, and foggy. Smoke could be smell from a certain spot, but a cold breeze and woody smell was in the opposite way.

She looked up to an empty sky, no stars twinkling to make her company. A feeling of emptiness wash over her, and she release the breath she didn't remember she was holding.

It took her a couple of seconds to realized she was in woods. She suddenly came to realization that she had fallen asleep in the tree she was leaning on earlier. Rhena opened her mouth, surprise. How could she had fallen asleep and not woke up until now?

She stood up, supporting herself with the tree and dusted her legs with her hands. It didn't help that she was in shorts and a thin shirt, she was shivering. She felt uncomfortable, as if someone was watching her, but tried to ignore the feeling. She ignored harder the feeling of breeze in her cheek, brushing her skin like a caressing hand.

"Goddammit" she muttered and turn around, seeing her surroundings. Rhena shook her head started walking with her arms crossed in her chest, trying to stay warm.

The Bekker girl notice she was close to the cemetery and a chill ran through her spine. There were fainted sounds coming that way, and for a moment she stood still, waiting for something to come out. She quickly realized what she was doing and the cold air hit her again, pushing her away.

Rhena walked ten minutes until she was out in the clearing, quickly making her way home. Things were starting to see familiar, and she knew she was close.

After another ten minutes, she was finally in her neighborhood. She walked to her driveway but notice that there were no cars parked in front of her house. Rhena stopped walking and furrowed her eyebrows, looking both ways of the street. The last thing she wanted was her brothers looking for her thinking she was missing.

She slowly approached the house, bending over to find the secret key they had under a rock. She opened the door, and got in, trying to be as quiet as possible. Rhena sighed with her back press against the door, telling herself she was now safe. Her eyes wondered across the empty living room, looking for someone.

The only light turn on was in the kitchen so she made her way there, only to discover Jax talking quickly on the phone and Asher with his hands in his face, frustrated. The air was tense and heavy, and a part of her wanted to go back to the woods.
