Time was a difficult concept to understand, an even harder one if you counted it. But no matter how much you stared at a clock, it wasn't going to move faster, or slower. Time didn't exist, it was just there, just like Rhena felt most of the time.

It had been a few days already since Rhena woke up, and all those days, the harder it took her to get used to everything again. She couldn't just do the same things she once did anymore, everything was shining in a different light, it all looked distorted. When she thought it was all back to normal, the same doubts filled her head.

The only thing it seemed to be working for her was training, something she had gotten used to growing up. Now that most of her memories were restored, training and fighting with her powers was not as foreign as it was when she started training with her dad. He had been helping her as if she was new to it, but she wasn't, she was just a little rusty.

Away from the city, and into the confinement's of the woods, Rhena had been staying in a cabin in the woods. Nicolette had rented the cabin as soon as she could, and the two had been living in it until they knew what the next move was.

Rhena had a plan, one that she was going to follow no matter what. But before going through with it, she needed to confront and visit her family, the ones who still thought she was dead.

Even though she was caught up in her mind, she could still block Nicolette's punches and kicks, evading the spells send her way. The memories of her training were back, even though she was just a little rusty, she was still training like there was no tomorrow. If she was going to face people like her, she needed to be faster and stronger. She needed to have control.

Just as Nicolette was about to kick her in the face, Rhena managed to hold her leg centimeters away form her face. She let out a breath and the two locked eyes before she send Nico flying back. Nicolette stopped in time and smirked before sending a spell to her head, with the intentions of confusing her. But a quick and effective shield made the trick for Rhena, she moved her hands and the spell rebounded, almost hitting the witch.

The two girls panted and looked at each other, trying to catch up their breath. Rhena was about to sit in the ground to rest a little bit, but a gush of wind knocked the air out of her stomach as she was thrown backwards and into a tree. Pain spread through her body, but she payed no attention to it. She let out a growled and with glowing red eyes, she looked at Nicolette, who was smirking.

Rhena narrowed her eyes at her and stood up from the ground, slowly raising her arms to her side. In a matter how seconds, fire began to erupt around her and with a sly smirk, Rhena send the element towards her.
