The pain and the horror that was going through her mind was beyond what anything she had experienced. Everything was dark, for as far as her eyes could see. Perhaps she was dreaming, or just imagining things. Perhaps she had finally lost her mind.
With the little strength she had, Rhena tried to wake up. She needed to crawled out of the hole that was holding her captive, she needed to see something else other than the black empty space. She needed to breath.
Slowly and with difficulty, she began to hear muffled voices. It was working, because she was now able to feel body, the presence of it, at least. There were screams of pains, alarmed voices and cold breezes around her. One of the sounds in specific she recognized was the brazes of the fire, it left a tingling sensation around her body; she could feel its warmth. The breeze around her felt familiar, and she soon recognized that she was in the woods of her hometown.
Rhena opened her eyes slowly, and the first thing she saw was the sky full of stars and the full moon above her. Her mind was starting to remember the last events she witnessed, and her features were beginning to twist. She frowned, sitting down in the dirt. As her vision became clearer, she could now see that there was a circle of fire around her, igniting with potent.
Confusion and panic took over her as she moved around in the circle, trying to decipher what was going on. She tried to remain calm, but all that only caused her to freak more. Rhena panted, remembering her dad and Nicolette in the highway. She needed to find him and make sure he was okay.
Standing up, she took a deep breath and tried to cross the ring of fire, but something stopped her. It felt like a wall, but no matter how much she pushed, hit or kick, it didn't gave in. She didn't want to cry, because there was always a solution for everything, but being trapped there made her unsteady.
"Rhena?" she turned upon hearing someone call her name, and she found Elena, Jules, the woman who kidnap her and Caroline and Jenna, all three in a similar circle.
Rhena opened her mouth, terrified "Elena? What's going on? Where are we?" she questioned, looking around to see each women with horrified eyes "wh-what's happening?"
"Rhena, breath" Elena tried to calm her down, but the Bekker girl was becoming more frantic.
"what's going on? I can't get though" Rhena pushed the wall again with all her strength, but once again, nothing happened. She punched it multiple times until he knuckles began to hurt, but she wanted to do whatever it took to break free.
